Chapter Forty Six

Jay returned to the bedroom finished from her day of working an hour later, she plopped herself down next to Alexia who was still tucked up in bed feeling fragile bringing her a bowl of fruit to keep her sugar levels up, well aware that the captain had barely eaten all day.
"Gracias bebita" Alexia smiled as Jay passed her some grapes.
Jay sat eating them too, the room was silent as they watched each other eat. "We need to leave soon baby" Jay reminded Alexia who scowled at the notion popping some melon through her soft lips.

"Can you get me afterwards?" Jay nodded "si but I'll be abit late is that okay?" Alexia frowned "I have to pop to work for a bit".
"But you've worked all day amor?" Jay nodded "I know but I have some things I need to do". Alexia didn't ask why but she could feel Jay didn't want to share the information so she left the wandering questions inside her mind.

Jay got ready and grabbed a bag throwing it in her car hoping Alexia wouldn't notice, which to her surprise she didn't. The captain was still oblivious because her mind was consumed with thoughts of Jay.
Jay popped her head in the room as the captain finished making the bed, "ready to go?". "Si Bebe but I need a kiss first no?" Jay smirked as she walked towards Alexia and pushed her body flushed against her and pulled her hips tight to her torso smashing a deep kiss on her lips leaving the captain numb.
"Was that enough to keep you going until later?" Her eyes still closed Alexia was lost for words and just nodded instead, she allowed Jay to take her hand and lead her out of her apartment and down the stairs to the car.

It wasn't long before they had reached Eli's and Alexia was reluctant to let Jay leave as she pushed her luck more and more by kissing Jay passionately.
"Baby I really need to go, and we've been sat outside for 5 minutes already. Your madre will know we've been kissing" she said raising an eyebrow at a frowning Alexia. "I don't care what anyone thinks" Alexia murmured as she pulled Jay into another kiss leaving herself breathless.

Jay pulled away laughing opening her car door as she rounded to get Alexia out her side before she pushed her against the car and kissed her again.
"I love you have a good night", "Bebe por favor" Alexia whined at the lack of contact before Jay placed one more kiss on her soft lips, "I will come and get you later, I promise" and she pushed Alexia towards the front door before driving off.

Jay didn't want to leave Alexia but she wasn't completely honest with what she was doing tonight. She had a league deciding game tonight against Real Madrid, she had chosen not to tell Alexia because it wasn't originally in her plans to reconcile with her and that shouldn't change now.

Alexia sulked throughout most of dinner, she yearned for Jay to be with her, next to her so she could watch her indulge in light conversation with her family while she gripped her hands between her own.
Her phone buzzing next to her pulled her out of her sulking thoughts.

Misa - are you coming tonight?
Alexia - tonight? What are you on about?
Misa - Madrid are playing Barca in the futsal league final, did Jay not tell you?

Alexia dropped her fork leaving it clattering on the table. Her mother and sister sat bolt upright at the clang and asked what was wrong before Alexia calmly explained before ringing Misa asking what time kick off was.
After the call she rang all of her close team mates and they all agreed to meet at the stadium to cheer her on. Alexia was annoyed in the beginning before Eli convinced her Jay doesn't make a big deal out of anything and they actually weren't back together until yesterday, Eli and Alba decided to come along with Alexia for morale support.

Jay could hear the stadium filling up from the locker room, she gave her team the pep talk and lead them out proudly.
Jay was focused and didn't even bother looking into the crowd, she shook hands with the opponents and let the game begin.
