Chapter Forty Eight

Alexia and Jay laid in bed for an hour or so, wrapped up in each other under the sheets sipping at their coffees.
There wasn't much conversation, mainly because they were relatively tired from the night before but to be honest it was because they were so content in each others space that they didn't need to make small talk.

Alexia's phone buzzed on the side and she sighed as she realised her sister was FaceTiming her.
"Hola Hermana" Alexia said answering quickly.
"Hola Ale, you'll never guess what? The funfair we went to last year is back in town!" Alba expressed herself with such enthusiasm that Jay tried so hard to stifle her laugh.
"Ah Jay you stayed the night si?" Alba said gasping at the loved up pair.
"Alba what do you want?" Alexia said trying to change the subject away from her sexlife.
"Well I just told you the funfair is in town! It's candyfloss time bitches! I'm getting us tickets invite the team it will be fun. Besides the pequenas can come to this too" Alexia agreed with her sister for once and hung up the phone.

"So we're going to the funfair tonight?" Jay said as Alexia rolled over to face her.
"Is that okay?" Alexia asked as she rubbed Jays arm softly.
"Si, of course. It's just crazy to think that this time last year we went together and we hadn't kissed yet?" Alexia smirked.
"Si but baby this time we can kiss as much as we want" Alexia whispered as she pulled Jay towards her lips kissing her softly.

Alexia text the team and told them about the mandatory team bonding night tonight and they all replied very excited, even Vicky who only worried she may not be tall enough for the rides.
The rest of the day was spent lounging around the  apartment in each others company, not doing a lot before they decided they really needed to crack on with the day.
While Alexia showered Jay put her washing away, it was there she found it. Still in the black box she had brought it in. All the emotions came back as she clasped it in her hands, the plans she had made floating around in her thoughts. She had put so much time and effort into it, she wanted it to be perfect but it couldn't be after what had happened.

She heard the shower switch off and quickly shut the drawer and retuned to emptying the dishwasher. Hands sliding around her waist was what met her next, "amor that shower would have been so much better if you were in there with me" Alexia said as she spun Jay round into a kiss.
"Hey what's wrong?" Alexia asked as she scanned Jays face knowing something was bothering her.
"Nothing I've got a headache, I might go home and nap so we can enjoy the funfair tonight" Jay said as Alexia looked confused.

Alexia's hands dropped to her side, "have I done something wrong?" Jay shook her head pulling her hands back into hers.
"No bebita, you haven't and you've got to stop thinking like that. Let me nap and we'll have so much fun tonight I promise".
Alexia shuffled behind her to the door "but why don't you nap here?" Jay stifled a laugh.
"Look at you, we wouldn't be napping believe me" Jay said as she pushed a flush kiss on Alexias lips.
"Okay, well i love you", "i love you more, I'll pick you up later" and she closed the door behind her leaving Alexia a little sad.

Jay returned home collapsing on her bed, she slept for a couple of hours only waking up to texts from Alexia checking she was okay.
She rung her and let her know she was fine and feeling better and that she would get her in an hour or so.
Jay spent time in the shower freshening up for tonight. She pulled on some black skinny jeans a plain tee and a denim jacket, topped off with some Nike dunks. She doused herself in Alexia favourite perfume and made her way to her apartment.

Alexia opened the door looking stunning, "wow bebita you look so good" Jay said smugly as she took her in, raking her eyes over her entire body.
"We could stay in..." Jay interrupted her "nope you planned this whole night we're not staying home so you can chase your orgasm" Jay said as Alexia pouted before being pulled out of the apartment by her eager girlfriend.
