Day 28 - 7/12/15

I think from now on I am going to do a recipe each Sunday. Hopefully I will always have time to put one up.

After I logged off sh!t went down last night. After my brother came home all angry and stuff my mom went upstairs to talk to him and she caught him with a vaporizer. Those vapor cigarettes thing. Apparently my dad knew about it. I didn't. I actually had no idea. There was so much emotional toll on mom she had to get out and she left to go to sleep at the other house. So she left around 11 last night and I decided to watch a Christmas movie. I ended up going to bed at 12:20. I woke up this morning at 7:30 and I was dead. I had the worst headache.

After that I went to breakfast with my mom and then we just ran a few errands and kind of took an easy day. I am now sitting on the couch watching TV with my mom and we just ate dinner. We got Subway. Later I am going to take a shower and do whatever. Right now my computer is charging.

Let's get to the recipe!

Korean Beef. Now I usually double or sometimes triple the sauce. A normal amount just does not cut it. Plus I like to pour it over white rice.

1/3 cup brown sugar, packed

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1/2 teaspoon crushed red-pepper flakes, or more to taste

1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 pound ground beef

2 green onions, thinly sliced

Cooked rice, for serving

Now, start rice because it takes 20 minuets.

First, cook the ground beef or ground turkey with the garlic and vegetable oil. Next mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, pepper flakes, and ginger together and cook on medium heat until bubbling, stir and keep cooking for a minute and then turn down the heat.

Second, when the beef or turkey is almost done, just a little pink, add the sauce and green onions. Don't forget to save some sauce for the rice and veggies! Now I cut up about a bundle maybe a bundle and a half. I love green onion. Then continue to cook until done. Serve over rice and I like to cook stir fry vegetables to go with it. Enjoy!

I have cooked this a few times and each time I love it. The first time I followed the recipe to the T. I learned that more sauce is better. I think next time I want to add pineapple. That should be good.

If you try this leave a comment down below and tell me what you thought of it. Happy eating! Night all!
