So far, Nahida had only sent him half a document fully translated. The document simply stated things Zafira had already told them. Basic history, king this, king that. Their Nen is fueled by food, and such. So they have nothing, so far.

It's been a week, and Wanderer felt like he was in hell. That damn Archon kept acting strangely around him.

"Wanderer."

Her voice alone made him want to fly off, but he remembered Kite and stayed put. Simply turning to face her, their eyes met, and her soft voice continued.

"Kite has told me you prefer to be called Hat Guy. So I'll also call you that from now on."

He scoffed, arms crossed as he turned his head away.

"I don't care. Don't talk to me if all you have to say are insignificant things."

Wanderer didn't wait for her reply, or bothered to look at her. He simply left, going to the other side of their small camp where no one was. Or, where no one was supposed to be in. Apart from the obvious two following Wanderer and Kite around, another face was added to the pile of nuisances.

"I always thought you'd only show a scowl to me and Hisoka."

Illumi glanced at him while leaning against a tree. The assassin wore a teal crop top with a black undershirt that covered his waist and baggy, long, teal pants. They only reason that combination would look good, was because of his facial features.

Wanderer rolled his eyes, but he didn't move anymore. If he did, he would leave Kite's field of sight. Doing that with Illumi around was basically begging for the assassin to kill him.

He simply leaned on another tree trunk, crossed his arms, and closed his eyes. That should've been enough for Illumi to get the hint, and know he didn't want to talk. But he and Hisoka had more in common than Wanderer realized.

"My mission is to kill you."

"Hah. Who ordered that?'

He hasn't made any enemies that he knows of. Illumi hummed at the question.

"I can't answer that. Not without having you answered one of my questions."

Wanderer scoffed again, and simply slid down the tree until he sat down on the ground and crossed his legs.

"Is that so? You want to exchange answers? Why would I ever do that with you?"

Illumi's eyes followed his movements like a hawk.

"Not only do I have information on Gold, I can give you information on Kil and Nen."

He scoffed for the third time with a mocking smile.

"Why? I don't see any reason for us to exchange information. Also, do I need remind you of your failed attempt at killing me? I'd be a fool to trust a word out of your mouth."

"I believe you have no choice."

Illumi walked forward, and stopped right in front of him. He squatted down so their eyes could meet. Soulless, black eyes inspected his violet ones for answers.

"Once I figure out what makes you so interesting, I won't have any need for you."

Wanderer raised a brow at his words.

"What?"

He lowered his head and imitated a sigh.

"You reminded me of that creepy clown. Is this how you two speak to each other?"

"Not anymore."

His fast answer made Wanderer knit his eyebrows. Illumi tilted his head while looking at him.
