"Hey bro, haven't seen you like forever?" Austin says to his brother, as we met him on the stair case.

"Yes, been busy. You haven't also been home." Max utters.

Not to be a bad person, I know it's his brother's house but I don't know why he leaves here. Like he can rent an apartment if not buy, besides his parents live here and also his sister.

I just think he wants to stay here, just to torment my life. Because he always gives me a certain look that I know what it meant, he usually give me that look before, but at that time I didn't understand what those eyes means.

"Yeah, you know I have something's doing." Austin says, his eyes not leaving me. I shift behind Max.

"Okay, I have to go, my baby here needs me." Maxwell says, guiding me to our room.

I could see Austin's demeanor change, his eyes hardened, immediately those words left Max's mouth, but he composed himself smiling.

"Okay, you guys run along. I don't want to waste your time." He says slightly gritting his teeth. we walk to the direction of our room.

"Enjoy!" He shouted, after us and I could hear something strange in his voice. But I don't care.

We got to the room, sitting on the bed. I looked at Max waiting for him eagerly to start.

"So..." I dragged, he turns his attention to me.

"So, I met Megan thirty one years ago."

"Woah! Thirty one years?" I said amused, I don't think my parents even met each other then.

"What?" He asked, chuckling.

"Nothing, just amazed by the years. I was not born yet, like my parents didn't even know they will become parents, I don't think they even know they will get married one day maybe they are still in highschool."

"Yeah, probably," He shrugged, "so as I was saying, I meet Megan thirty one years ago, when we were both still teenagers in highschool. She was the queen of our school, the popular girl everyone was crazy about, the school's sweetheart. She was the cheer squad leader, the beautiful Megan. All the guys in the school have crush on her, including some teachers, which i know was not a good thing, but they can't just help it. I mean they can't resist Megan's beauty." He smiled as he was remembering his past.

"Megan, was so pretty, confident, smart and kind. Well that's what I thought then. I was just a highschool boy, I was not that popular but yet nobody dare mess with me, I was in the music class for a few years but I stopped attending the class, I'm friends with the popular guys in school. I have had a crush on Megan ever since I set my eyes on her when we were in our freshman's year. I just don't have balls to tell her, so I always watch her from afar everytime. My friends always tell me to inform her about my feeling, but everytime I approach her I always get nervous and cower back. There was a day, I stood outside the cafeteria waiting for her with my friends so I can finally let her know how I feel about her. When she approached I couldn't face her so my friends pushed me and I stumbled to her front, she was with her friends and they let out a squirm, startled by my sudden approach."

"Hey, what's wrong with you?" Jasmine, Megan's friend hissed angrily.

"I'm sorry, didn't mean to startle you girls. I was pushed by my friends." I apologized, embarrassed and she rolled her eyes at me.

"Whatever, excuse us." She said walking past me, bumping my shoulder Charlotte their friend followed her. But Megan didn't move. She was watching me smiling. I smiled back at her nervously.

"H-hey, I'm... Um, I'm really sorry." I apologized once again and her smile grew.

"It's okay, Maxwell right?" She questioned, and I nodded.

"Yes." I said, smiling widely.

"Well, I'm Megan, though I know you already know me." She says, giggling a bit. Stretching her hand for a shake.

"M-maxwell, nice to meet you." I said, taking her soft hand in mine. As she laughed, I know she noticed how tensed I was.

"I know right?, Nice to meet you too. I'm having a party at my place tomorrow, will you like to come?."  I grinned like a fool.

"Oh, s-sure. I will be there." I said excited as she laughed at me.

"Alright! Do you know my house?" She asked, she doesn't know that I know everything about her.

"Yes, I know your place," I said and I remembered my friends will also like to go, though I know they probably must have gotten the invitation before me, as they are popular. "Can I bring my friends too?"

"Sure, you can." She laughed.

"Megan! Let's go you know we have practice now." Jasmine called.

"Sorry, I'm coming," she said to her friends and turns her gaze to me. "I have to go, so see you tomorrow?"

"Sure, see you." I said, she waved at me and walked to her friends.

"What are you doing with that guy? I just don't li-" jasmine was complaining as they walked away. I don't care what she was saying, all I care about was that I got to talk to Megan, the girl of my dreams. And that she even invited me to her party. I was still daydreaming when I felt someone jumped on my back. It was Henry my friend, while Niko slapped me on my chest.

"Congrats man, finally." Niko shouts.

"Shh, is not like I asked her out or even told her about my feelings." I said while Henry got down and walked to stand beside me.

"Anyhow, you can still ask her out tomorrow, when we go to the party." Henry says.

"Yeah, let's get to class." I said as the bell rang.

This means that the lady, was Max's girlfriend. What happened to them? What happened to there relationship?, is she ivah's mother?

The way Max smile's and reacts shows how much he loves her. Then what separated them? Didn't she love him? Is the feeling one-sided?

I have so many questions running through my head, but I know I can't ask all at once so I asked the most relevant one at the moment.

"So...., Did you attend the party?"
