Imani's uncle in the MM

Omniscient

"King! King slow down!" Imani says running after him.

Imani sits her designer bag on the kitchen counter and kicks off her red bottom booties. She lets out a heavy sigh before going into the fridge to see what she could put together with a quickness tonight.

It had been only a couple of weeks since Imani had left her old place behind and moved into the home she'd had her eye on for a while. Now, she was currently on the road to getting custody of her siblings. Man had already pretty much moved in with Imani. His grandmother wasn't quite fond of him being around his other siblings and he just wasn't with the list of unnecessary rules his grandmother had laid down.

So here he was... Eating her out a house and home already, but Imani didn't mind at all. He was her little brother and she'd do anything for him.

Just as she was getting settled in, her phone began to ring. She picks it up from the counter and smiled before answering.

"Hey my love." She says into the phone.

"Wassup shawty." She hears Rico say through the phone. "How you baby?"

Imani smiles at the sound of his voice and sits at the counter.

"I'm good now that I've heard your voice. You been busy. I haven't talked to you all day."

"I had to run out of town for a lil minute, but I got some business that needs taking care of." He says. "Can you handle that for me?"

Imani nods kind of in shock. "Yeah whatever you need bae."

Rico finishes off the conversation by letting her know where she needed to make the pick-ups and drop offs. This was kind of new to Imani. Rico had never asked her to deal with anything concerning his business.

He was real strict about letting people into his business, especially when it concerned him making his money. Imani took down the addresses and headed towards the stairs.

"There's this nigga named Joe on Lake Shore Drive, apartment 150. He be waiting on you. I already told him you coming through so everything gon be smooth. Make sure you walk out with ten. Nothing more, nothing less." He says sternly. "You call me if you run into any problems. Anybody give you static, you handle your business. Aight?"

Imani nods. "Copy that."

Imani was just about to hang up to the phone before Rico began to speak again.

"I love ya."

Imani was kind of shocked at his quick reply before the phone hung up shortly afterwards. She smiled and rolled her eyes before grabbing her purse and stepping back into her shoes.

"Hey Jr. Can you keep an eye on King? I got some business to tend to real quick." Imani says popping her head in.

"Yeah you know unc luh da kids." Man says rubbing King's head as they watched cartoons on the couch.

"I'll bring some pizza back!" Imani says before heading out of the door.

Imani locks up and heads to her car before hopping in and starting it. A text from Rico pinged to her phone and she headed to her first destination.

Imani soon found herself parked outside a brownstone. She checks the address again before grabbing her purse and stepping outside the car. She quickly tucks her piece in her waistband before making her way up the steps.

"1-5-0. 1-5-0..." Imani says searching for the apartment. She presses the button a couple times before she was buzzed in.

She makes her way inside and to the apartment which was a flight or two up, knocking on the door.
