"Hey can I call you?"(8:39am) Lina texted me, "I was busy having breakfast with my husband; it felt nice."

We would be travelling to Okene on the 23rd of August, I guess our honeymoon is over and it's back to reality, it was nice to have spent this wonderful time with my husband alone for a change.

'maybe I wouldn't be bored if I made use of my doctorate degree' I thought to myself, but do I really want to work as a doctor? Wouldn't that be stressful? But at least I won't feel lonely right?

"What is bothering my princess" Winter couldn't help but notice that I stopped eating and was lost in my thoughts.

"Nothing, I'm going to miss this place" I blurted out.

"Don't worry, your help would be staying with you in Okene" Idar no he meant Grace? Haa that would be nice.

"What? You don't seem excited at all" my face was still expressionless although I managed to eat a spoonful of my meal.

"I am my love, just that spending time with Idar would be more fun" it has been two years since she resigned to pursue a career in nursing, but I shameless am always around her, she was more than a help to me but a friend, she was the only one in the palace around my age and she was a child just like me.

"Well last time I heard, she was about to write her exams"

"Yes... Wait" where did he get the information from?

"Yeah Joseph is also doing his masters programme there" Winter said.

"Hey Diane can I call you? It's urgent please"(9:02am) Lina sent another message to me.

"Who is that?" Winter asked as I picked up my phone which was already ringing.

"Go ahead, I'm still at my breakfast table" I answered the phone, picking calls at the table was seen as disrespectful to the person who is at the table with in ofuland, but here in Tamaje I have seen a dozen people do it.

"I just spoke to mom, she sent out invites yesterday, yes you were right your mom is behind it all. The wedding is still 20days away from now and she is here in oyoland preparing for it..." She began to tear up "Diana I need your help, please" her voice was shaky and I could hear the worry in her voice.

"What did she say about the favour she is repaying?"

"Nothiiing, she just saiiid she can't turn down yo yo your mottther's offer" Lina was bawling her eyes out, and her speech was incoherent.

"It's alright, let's see what we can do, I have already spoken to my gran gran and whatever she tells me I would get back to you" I replied to her.

"Thank you" she composed herself to say as she ended the call.

"Who was it?" Winter asked again.

"Lina, the princess of oyoland" I said as I continued eating my meal.

"Oh, the one getting married soon" he muttered, the news have spread far and wide I guess, to call it off seems to be getting harder and harder.

"Well let's just hope for the best" I said with a smile.

"Okay then, I should be off to the office I would see you later during the day" Winter said as he gave me a kiss on the forehead.

"So soon" wonder when our honeymoon tired into his work trip, sad.

"Well I have a project that I would be reviewing in Okene I want to finish up here" so there would be more working in okene too, wow.

"Take care" I said as he walked out of the room.

"I should probably speak to gran gran then" i said to myself.

"Are you done eating or you are just going to be here all day" Daniella finally spoke, it was as if she was waiting for winter to leave before she unleash the demon in her.

"Lol" i stood up with my phone in my hand dialling gran gran as I walked away from the table, I wasn't the one she would put in a bad mood today.

"My love, how are you doing" gran gran answered the call as I walked into my room, maybe that's why I am always here in my room because of the troublesome help.

"Hi gran gran, you didn't tell me mom was no longer in ofuland" I went straight to the main issue, beating around the bush was not helping anyone.

"So I heard, she left this morning to prepare for the wedding, I guess your mother is more involved in it than I thought" everyone knew she and the Queen of oyoland were close, but not this close.

"Oh okay, any news on what I asked for?" Damn I forgot to ask about dorathy too, her issue is unsettling with me, but I guess I should wait a bit after we finish with Lina's issue I guess.

"Calm down, we spoke yesterday and asking around could lead to your mom finding out you, I have my ways but it would take time" gran gran said, but Lina was desperate and I know how she felt, suffocating it seems like your whole world wanted to end.

"Yes I am, it's just that our time is limited on this case" I said to gran gran.

"Don't worry it would all be fine, but why don't you talk to your mother about this, maybe there is something else you can do to make her drop it" gran gran suggested another route.

"You think so?" What would she want in return to drop the marriage between Lina and Fred? What?

"Well let's just hope she doesn't ask for anything outlandish" she has been trying to dispose me but doesn't have the power to, but with her son on the way and me needy g something from her... I'm sure I'm just in my head right? Could she? Neh I'm overthinking.

"Gran gran do you think it is a good idea?" I asked again, mom is not someone to play with like that.

"Yes dear, you know you can always reject it, besides why would she ask something from you? Isn't Lina the one we are talking about?" Yeah, I forgot. Not me overthinking things again.

"You should rest okay, I have a doctor's appointment at the moment I would call you back when I am done" Gran Gran said, as she ended the call.

Yeah I'm definitely over thinking things.

"Ding ding" my phone was ringing again, who could it be?
