29th of August.

"Good morning princess, it's so nice to see you again" Alexandra said as she got up to give me a big hug.

"Good morning dear, the pleasure is all mine" I said as we both began to walk towards the Winter's book shelf, this was the 5th time I was coming back here, and I've learnt a lot about the old oyo empire and so much about history that wasn't disclosed and was still a mystery to the real world.

"How is your husband Winter?" She asked as we continued walking.

"He is alright"

"And his secretary, Adaeze? She still works for him right?" She asked in a subtle but alarming tone, should I be worried?

"Well she is good I suppose" she and her mom stay over at the mansion, although I found it weird I didn't see anything wrong with it giving the reason why she was there.

"Hmm" she sighed and it raised my suspensions.

"Why did you ask about her?"
"What's the matter?"
"Is everything okay?" Is there something she knows that I don't?

"Well last time I heard, her mother was trying to get her married to the young Master" what? Married to Winter?

"Wait what? And why didn't it happen?" I was curious to see how it played between the both of them, won't working be awkward between them?

"Well he met you, and it all became history. Besides I doubt any of the both of them knew about it, it was all her my dear, Daniella is pretty much power hungry" she said as we reached the spot of the bookshelf.

"Besides, it's against the Winter family rules, of course she doesn't know that" Alexandra added.

"What's against what?" This was news to me again, the family had rules?

"Well yes, lots of them" Alexandra said.

"Okay" I said as I paused for a minute, I wonder what type of rules they have and what they are for.

"Oh should we begin with Winter number 2?" She asked as we both sat down.

"Well before we do that I want to know more about the rules governing the family, if I'm going to have a child and raise it I might as well be familiar with them" well I should at least know what I am putting myself into, what if there was a rule that would prevent me from becoming Queen? But Winters mom works though, I'm sure it's all in my head.

"Oh okay then, let me get the rule book" she said as she stood up and began to move further into the library, how deep does this go? And what's in there?

"Please call me when you are free" I looked down on my phone and it was a text from an unknown number, it was sent 5 minutes ago, I think that was before I entered the library.

I wonder who's number is this, is it Lina? Did she change her cellphone number? I've been trying to contact her but to no avail.

"I'm back" Alexandra announced as she walked to meet me.

That reminds me, did Lina run away? She did mention it yesterday, I hope she did not, it's 11 days to her wedding I'm sure they are trying everything to make sure she doesn't go anywhere.

"Well the book was translated into English some years back, you want to have a look for yourself?" Alexandra said as she handed over the book to me.

"Thanks" I said as I opened the book, it was not as thick and dusty as the rest it was properly cleaned, I guess she only manages these books hence why the other part of the library is dusty and all.

"The Winter rule book" the heading read as I skipped the introduction and acknowledgement.

"Rule number 1,
History should not repeat itself" it read in bold, there was a huge page of explanation underneath I was more interested in knowing all the rules before I know why and what made them important.

"Rule number 2,
Once a help, always a help" wow that was fast, this is the one that talked about marriage between the Winter family and their help, I wonder what transpired to make them establish this rule early on in their family history.

"Rule number 3,
The secret about the Winter library should NEVER be disclosed to anyone on no condition except a spouse" well this was self explanatory, no one would hear about the library and not be curious and the curiosity may lead to stories and all, it could also lead to the discovery of the library.

"Rule number 4,
Every family member is banned from ever having relations with any Descendants of the oyo empire" well giving what happened to the first Winter I feel they might be justified.

"Rule number 5..."

"Well to fully understand the rules you should read the text underneath, and for more context we should continue reading the Winter book" Alexandra adviced me.

"Well I would do that but I have something to do today so I don't think I would be staying long." I told her as I continued skimming through the book.

"Rule number 5,
Work ethics and guidelines"

"Rule number 6,
Never trust a friend or anything betrayal is real"

"Rule number 7,
Get a prenuptial agreement" well Alexandra was right, number 5 and bellow needs more context and explanations. But if this was a rule why didn't me and Winter sign one?

"Rule number 8,
No matter what happened, every Winter's dead body should be buried in the winters grave" they have a grave yard? For family members? Also did someone still a body?

"I think I would stop here, I have an errands to run." It was no use touring myself to read the book, I could not make sense of what was written there untill I read deep into it and I did not have time.

"12:08pm" I said as I read the time from my phone, 4 hours? I have been here for 4 hours? Wait what? Does time move fast here? I don't understand, how comes?

"Okay then, I would see you next time" Alexandra said as she began to take me out of the underground library.

That beats me, don't anyone ever questions what goes on here? Has no one tried to enter the library when the museum was closed? Don't tell me none of the staffs that know about this place is curious to want to see it for themselves, honestly the Library brings a lot of suspicion, i wonder why they don't work on it.
