"Good morning your majesty, it's been a minute I heard from you" Idar said as she picked up the call, I can't believe it's been weeks we spoke.
"Idar, how are you? How is your education going? Hope you are coping well?" I'm sure she was, she is my friend after all, and she is really smart I'm sure she is doing well.
"To be honest I'm doing my best" she replied.
"And that's more than enough, it was been a while I heard from you, I said let me check up on you to hear how you are doing" I said.
"Well you know me princess, I'm doing fine" she said.
"That reminds me, the girl you asked me to find dorathy right?" Shoot I even forgot about late dorathy's case, the Winter library and Lina has consumed me completely.
"Yes, what about it?"
"Well she is the same person as the one I told you had a missing person's flier, her original name is habiba Haruna when she ess in ofuland it got changed to dorathy when she went out, she was kidnapped at an early age and her parents habe been looking for her, i heard she passed away because she mingled with the wrong crowd and was trying to get out of the organisation" was I the wrong crowd? If she had never met me would she be alive?
"Oh and also, her parents are denying her, they are changing their words and I asked the people investigating to leave the case, although it would be nice to know the story to the end, I don't want to endanger more people and her parents don't sound safe" Idar said.
"May her soul rest in peace, let's allow the case to die down then. Oh okay what about mom and the Queen of oyoland, any thing on them?" I asked as we can't save dorathy but we can save Lina from that narsasistic Fred.
"Nothing your majesty, anything that's between then is very secretive and not many people know about it, and the ones who do are loyal to the Queen's" she said.
"Well I've got to go, I have an exam later today I'll speak to you when I am done" Idar said as she hung up the call, that was a lot to deal with and she just dumped information on me and cut off the call.
Maybe I should call gran gran and hear what she has to say, isn't this all too much? God I'm tired.
"Gran gran, good morning" I greeted immediately she picked up my call.
"My grandbaby, which rock have you been hiding under, Diana?" Gran gran was know for her friendly but sarcastic nature.
"I've been doing a lot of history learning and all gran gran" I said.
"I've been trying to talk to you since yesterday, your line doesn't always go through, grace said you spend most of your times in the museum" gran gran always had her way with information.
"Yes I was ma, any issues? Hope you are doing well?" I said as she sounded a bit off.
"Well I got a cold, beside that I'm as healthy as a teenager, that's by the way my love I have found out what your mother and the Queen of oyoland are hiding from the world, it's not funny" gran gran said.
"I'm ready to hear what you have to say" honestly I don't think anything could shock me at this point.
"Well let me get straight to it, according to what I have source and all this is coming directly from the nurse who helped them with the procedure.
Well the Queen of oyoland was pregnant and she went to a native doctor, a wizard if you are curious and he told her she is having a daughter" gran gran paused, so before ultrasound and all they went to native doctors (wizards) to know the gender of their children, wow.
"I'm listening to you" I don't like the way this story is going one bit.
"Well she did not want to be the mother of a daughter I guess, she wanted an heir to the throne so she did something to get rid of it, and she did the procedure in ofuland and your mother was the one who helped her with the procedure and all.
We all know harming a royal is a crime punishable by death in both ofuland and oyoland, especially when the person doing the harming is not of royal descent, so by aborting the baby she has indirectly murdered a child who is a potential royal" nothing in this world would have prepared me for this, I know my mom was capable of anything but this? This? Wow! That's outrageous.
"And you do know that if this gets out they would both be in trouble, you know they could face banishment and if your mom gets banished her unborn son would not be able to claime the throne" gran gran said.
"So what do you suggest we do?" I asked.
"Well even though I would love to expose this to the world, so things are better left undisclosed. We would come to an agreement with them to call of the wedding from Fred's end and that's all, we don't want the media to blow this out of proportion and all, I would also advise you don't tell Lina about this, you don't want to hurt her and her mother's relationship even further" gran gran said.
"Thanks gran gran" as usual she was as knowledgeable as always and she knows the best thing to do.
"Don't worry Diana, I would take care of this with your mother don't worry" she said.
"Okay ma, I'll talk to Lina about it" even though it has been a while since I had to spoken to her.
"You still have contact with her? I heard she was locked inside her room by her mother after her failed attempt to leave the palace" oh no wonder, I guess she gets caught.
"No gran gran, wow! These people mean business, I am sup I would advise you travel to oyoland to go see your friend Diana, for moral support after all the smoke is over" gran gran said.
"Okay ma, I'll talk to my husband about it"
"Okay dear, are you going to be around for this year's royal day?" Gran gran asked.
"Yes ma I will be, is there any issue?" She sounded somehow with her question.
"No nothing, I can't wait to see you my love. That's by the way let me get back to what I was doing, have a lovely day, bye"
