"Hello" I picked up my cellphone and called her.... Just like yesterday Lina's phone number was not going through again.
"What exactly are you doing in the library?" Jose asked as he drove me there, he has been the only one accompanying me all these days, and I guess it is getting suspicious how frequent I go there.
"Well I'm learning about history and all, the museum has a lot of artifacts a d I am curious to know their origin and meaning behind them" that wasn't a lie because I am learning about all these, but not in the type of manner he thinks.
"Good, you would make a wonderful Queen" he remarked as the car became silent as we continued to drive to the museum.
I can't believe I would be travelling to ofuland very soon to attend the royal party, it's a party that celebrates all royalty of ofuland both present and past, and as the future heir to the throne I have to be there.
"Lina, call me back when you receive this text okay? I'm worried sick about you" I sent her, it's been 2 days and I have not heard a word from her, that's strange.
"Thank you" I said as I walked out of the car door and into the museum using the back door, I did not want to be spotted by anyone today.
"Princess, you are early today" Alexandra said as I entered the secret library, out of line though but where does she sleep? Does she spend all her entire life here? Well I do know she talks to people and all but still.
"Yeah, I had extra time on my hands today" and also I want to learn all I can today, I might not be coming back to the library untill after the royal day celebration.
"Good let's get right I to it then" she said as she pulled up the 2nd Winter's book, makes me wonder, when did they switch to English? Who was the first Winter to write in English?
"Well the story is pretty interesting and it is my favourite, for context Winter number two grew up to with his parents, their maid and their maids daughter (alhandra)" she began the story.
"After his dad died when he was just 20, his mother died at the age of 60 when he was just 23 years old, he only had his maid and her daughter and by this time he and alhandra were really close, like siblings as they knew each other from birth, he developed romantic feelings for her and boom they got married" oh wow, he got married to his help? Is he the one who wrote rule number 2? or 3? I've forgotten which number it is.
"After their marriage alhandra began acting weird all of a sudden, she conceived and gave birth to a boy although he expressed how he always wanted a female daughter, 10 years after their marriage he found out that alhandra and her mother were witches and they have been casting spells on him, he tried to divorce her and she placed a spell on him, 'that no one in his family linage would ever give birth to a girl, the thing he wanted the most' that was the last thing she said before she and her mother were burnt at the town square" she passed to take a breather and read more to translate for me.
"And was her curse real?" Well if it was a royal family, that wouldn't be a bad curse I think.
"Well no one believed in the curse, but for some strange reason after this only one female child has been born and she died at age 17 same age alhandra's son was when she died" wow that's tragic, so a female child is a treasure here? That's nice to know.
"He died at age 86, he never married again and he was lonely and miserable before his death, some say alhandra's spirit was what drove him to insanity, others says she hunted him daily" what a spooky tale, of she wasn't reading it for me i would say it was all made up.
"Next" she said as she brought out the 3rd Winter's book for us to got through it.
"After he lost his mom, he made a vow to never allow any one come close to him, he became a renowned craftsman and just like his father he married a witch also, she killed him one night in his sleep after she wasn't able to give birth to a female child who would success her and her families witchcraft, she undid the curse but for the 20th or 16th generation I think, she wss burned alife some daus after she killed her husband leaving their son to become an orphan at age 10" wow, so witches did exist, wow that's such a nice thing to learn about.
"Moving on the winter number 4" I guess we are on a roll today, and she is just summarizing it for me.
"Having no other family relatives, winter number 4 was adopted by his maid and her family, not adopted per day more like they became his legal guardian to protect him from the orphanage, he grew up a normal child and he only found out about his family heritage through reading the Winter books and also doing some research on his own, he decided to become a doctor to save lives as he did not believe in witches and all, his maids child who was his best friend excepted him to marry her, her whole family have been preparing her for the role and how they would leave poverty behind well he went to the university found a woman and got married, she set herself on fire alongside their mansion and every of her family member, he rebuilt the house for himself, his wife and child to stay" what a tragic way to die, seems like they all had their fair share of misbehaving house help, and 300 years later daniella still wants the same thing.
"Winter number 5, who is the last Winter to get involved in a witch and all, he grew I with both parents and after some time went to the university like his father met a woman they had a child and all, but little did he know that she was using his families wealth to commit crimes and get away with it, his book is not even filed as most part of his life was not documented" she said as she brought out the next book.
"Number 6, well this was around the time that women were allowed to gain education and not seen as slaves anymore, so this is the begging of education women in the family and she decided to allow the wives have a voice as she made the WWB, the Winter's Wives book it's a sub section for them to feel amongst, she lost her husband 3 years into her marriage when her son wss just 2 years old, but that didn't stop her as she also did a lot for the winter family like building 3 of the projects and continuing their legacy till her child became of age and wss read to take over" what an empowering young woman.
"Winter number 6" Alexandra said
