The grand hall of Guy Crimson's castle was as imposing as ever, its towering obsidian pillars and elaborate crimson banners creating an atmosphere of power and authority. This time, however, the air was charged with even more intensity than usual. A Walpurgis had been called, a gathering of all the Demon Lords—a rare occurrence and a sure sign that something of great importance was about to be discussed.
Seated at the large round table were some of the most powerful beings in existence. Guy Crimson sat at the head of the table, his piercing eyes scanning the room. To his right was Milim Nava, brimming with her usual energy, but today, her expression was serious. Beside her sat Rimuru Tempest, whose calm yet determined demeanor reflected the gravity of the situation. Leon Cromwell, with his usual regal bearing, observed everything in silence. Luminous Valentine sat regally, her silver hair shimmering as she glanced across the table. Draguel, the towering demon lord of the giants, remained stoic, and the ever-carefree Dino leaned back in his chair, though even he seemed more alert than usual. Ramiris, fluttering in her tiny form, looked tense.
In addition to the Demon Lords, three other figures had been invited to this Walpurgis: Velriza, Veldora, and Velgrynd. The True Dragons sat together, their presence alone commanding respect. Velriza's gaze was sharp, her mind focused on the upcoming discussions, while Veldora, despite his usual laid-back attitude, knew the importance of this gathering. Velgrynd sat beside her siblings, her icy blue hair flowing down her back, her face calm but unreadable.
Guy was the first to speak, his voice echoing through the hall. "Thank you all for coming. I wouldn't have called a Walpurgis if this wasn't a matter of utmost importance."
Milim slammed her fist onto the table, her fiery energy evident. "Yeah! Let's get to it! What's the deal with this Feldway guy, and what's Michael's plan?"
Rimuru leaned forward, his eyes narrowing. "We've already confirmed that Michael has taken control of Rudra's body. His goal is to recreate Veldanava's vision, but to do that, he's trying to capture the True Dragons."
Velgrynd, who had remained silent until now, spoke up. "That includes me, Veldora, and Velriza. He's already captured our sister, Velzard. She's now under Michael's control through Regalia Dominion."
A murmur ran through the room, but none of the Demon Lords were particularly surprised. They had all been briefed on Velzard's capture before the meeting, though hearing it from Velgrynd herself added a sobering weight to the situation.
Guy's crimson eyes flicked toward the dragons. "Michael's goal is clear—he needs the cores of the True Dragons to achieve his twisted version of Veldanava's plan. Velzard's already in his grasp, but he's still after the rest of you."
Veldora crossed his arms, his expression uncharacteristically serious. "Hmph, as if I'd let myself get captured by that wannabe god. But it does explain why they've been targeting us."
Velriza, her golden eyes gleaming with determination, added, "Michael and Feldway are using everything at their disposal to secure their plan. They've already invaded Tempest once, and they won't stop until they have all of us."
Rimuru turned to Guy, his voice steady. "What's the plan then, Guy? We can't sit around and wait for them to make their next move."
Guy smirked, leaning back in his chair. "Of course not. That's why I called this Walpurgis. We're going to take the fight to them."
Leon Cromwell, who had been silent until now, spoke up. "It's not just Michael we have to worry about. Feldway is just as dangerous, and he's been gathering forces in the shadows. We need to be prepared for more than just a direct confrontation."
Luminous Valentine tapped her fingers on the table, her eyes sharp. "If Michael is truly using Regalia Dominion, it won't be easy to free Velzard from his control. Regalia Dominion binds the soul itself."
Ramiris fluttered closer, her small voice full of concern. "That's true! Even with all our strength combined, breaking something like that won't be easy."
Rimuru's face darkened slightly as he thought of his own recent experiences with Regalia Dominion and how it had taken all his strength to break free Velriza. "We've done it before, but the circumstances now are different. Velzard is one of the strongest True Dragons. The level of control Michael has over her must be immense."
Velriza clenched her fists. "We can't afford to let Michael continue using Velzard as a puppet. We have to find a way to break his hold on her."
Guy's smirk faded into a more serious expression. "That's exactly why we need to strike first. I've already been preparing my forces. This isn't just about saving Velzard—this is about stopping Michael before he becomes too powerful to handle."
Draguel, who had been listening intently, finally spoke, his deep voice echoing through the hall. "The strength of the Demon Lords and the True Dragons combined is formidable, but even so, we can't underestimate Michael. His skill, Armageddon, can summon thousands of lesser angels, overwhelming even the strongest defenses."
Dino sighed, finally sitting up straight. "Yeah, that's a lot of angels to deal with. Sounds like a real pain. But I guess if we don't do something, we'll all be wiped out eventually."
Velriza exchanged glances with her siblings, her resolve only strengthening. "We need to work together, all of us. The Demon Lords, the True Dragons—we have to put everything on the line to stop Michael and Feldway."
Velgrynd nodded. "Agreed. We can't afford to hold back. Our family is at risk, and we've already lost too much."
Rimuru stood, his presence commanding attention. "Then it's decided. We'll prepare for a counterattack. But we need more information. If we can figure out where Michael is hiding, we can take the fight directly to him."
Guy nodded, his eyes glowing with anticipation. "Leave that part to me. I've already sent out scouts. It won't be long before we know exactly where they're planning their next move."
Milim slammed her hands on the table, a wide grin spreading across her face. "Finally! A real fight! Let's show them what we're made of!"
Leon Cromwell crossed his arms, nodding in agreement. "We need to strike swiftly. If we wait too long, Michael's control over Velzard will become even stronger."
Luminous added, her voice cold and precise, "We must be prepared for the worst. If Michael and Feldway are as relentless as we think, they won't hesitate to use every trick at their disposal."
Rimuru turned to Velriza, Velgrynd, and Veldora. "You three will be the key to this. As True Dragons, your power is what Michael is after. We'll need you at full strength for what's coming."
Veldora cracked his knuckles, a confident grin on his face. "Don't worry about me. I've been waiting for a chance to really cut loose."
Velriza smiled at her brother's enthusiasm but kept her focus on the task at hand. "This isn't just about us. This is about stopping Michael and saving Velzard. We won't let him win."
Guy stood, his eyes glowing with resolve. "Then it's settled. The Walpurgis has decided. We strike back against Michael and Feldway. We end this, once and for all."
As the meeting concluded, the tension in the air only grew thicker. Each of the Demon Lords knew the stakes—they weren't just fighting for their own survival, but for the fate of their world. The war against Michael and Feldway had only just begun, but with the combined might of the Demon Lords and True Dragons, hope flickered in the darkness.
