"Can't you two just sleep at night?" Yeonjun frowned at the two maknaes. "Makes sense why you two couldn't wake up early. Aren't you two ashamed that our scheduls are delayed because of you two?"
"Hyung, were your sleep hampered?" HueningKai asked softly.
"I was suddenly fucking awake at 3:11 am by the loud sound? Exactly what were you doing?"
"We were just singing." Taehyun replied as if nothing happened.

They both had dark circles under their eyes and made it clear that they actually didn't sleep.

"Don't give us that look, hyung." Kai said as Yeonjun was looking at them in disbelief.
"Shit! I can't do anything about you maknaes!" And stomped out of the room. He was mad because their room's noise made him awake as well.

After he left, Taehyun smiled weakly at Kai.
"I'm sorry."
"Sorry for what?" Kai questioned.
"We shouldn't have sang. Maybe I shouldn't ha-"
"Tyun-ah, remember we wanted to make this vacation memorable? Not like we get a 3-days vacation that regularly. It was a successful memory to me, I said."

So, TXT had got a 3-days vacation. Beomgyu immediately was off to Daegu, Soobin and Yeonjun met their families too. HueningKai was supposed to meet his family too, but saw that Taehyun would be left alone so he stayed with him.

"Hey, Hyuka, why're you still here?" Taehyun asked when everyone left already.
"Why? Can't I stay here?" Kai smiled.
"Of course you can, but-"
"No buts. I just wanted to stay with you. We best friends can make this vacation memorable too right?"

Taehyun opened his mouth to say something but stopped when Kai put his hand on his mouth.
"I know I can be annoyingly cute, but, do you hate me that much?" Kai whispered.

A whispering Kai is hot. Taehyun believed that.

"Never do I hate you."

"Ummm.....Kai?" Taehyun hesitatedly said.
"Yes?" Kai looked up at him from phone.
"I'll be singing for practice. Wanna sing with me?"
"What song are you going to sing?"
"Blue Hour."
"I'm in!" Kai excitedly said. "Karaoke?"
Taehyun nodded.

Both were singing their eyes closed. Suddenly Taehyun opened his eyes. Saw Kai's face expressing his passion as he sang. The next part Taehyun sang dedicating to Kai.

Kai finished the song himself.
"Why didn't you sing?"
"Why were you looking at me?" Taehyun frowned.
Kai laughed. "I meant those words."
"This song is meant for tubatu, we know."
"Yes, but tonight I sing this for you."

What did he mean actually?

In the faint lights, Kai saw Taehyun's face slightly pink.

Suddenly, the next day Yeonjun came at evening.

"You're early?" Taehyun asked.
"Just thought to come. Why? Interruption?" Yeonjun teased.
"Oh, no. Welcome home." Taehyun went to his and Kai's room a bit disappointed.

"What happened to your face?" Kai asked.
"Hm? Nothing. Yeonjun hyung came back."
"Aren't you happy?"
"Of course I am!" Taehyun frowned. "Just...."
"That you can't sing tonight?"
"You got me right." Taehyun sighed.
"We will." Kai said. "Today I'll pick the song."
"But won't Yeonjun hyung be mad at us? His sleep will be interrupted."
"Don't worry. Just enjoy these moments." He paused. "But promise me, you'll sing today along with me? Just looking into each other's eyes?"

Taehyun didn't get anything but agreed anyway.

Kai played Hydrangea Love.

They were looking into each other's eyes.

"Pabo." Kai smiled. "That was a confession." He paused. "But I didn't ask you out though."

Taehyun gulped.
"So, Hyuka, it's that- it's that we both fell for each other?"
"Yes. I know that you're hiding it though. No longer. Can we be each other's?" Kai nuzzled Taehyun's neck as he said.

Taehyun shivered a little.
"Yes. Singing with you all night was memorable, Hyuka."
"Was it?" Kai laughed. "At least it was successful to me as I at last could confess."
