Although the two lowered their voices, their conversation still reached He Jinyun, who was walking ahead.

Hearing it, He Jinyun glanced back at Ye Zexi, who was following him.

Ye Zexi noticed He Jinyun's gaze and immediately flashed him a smile. His attractive lips curved upward, and his almond-shaped eyes sparkled even more brightly with the smile.

Their eyes met for a brief moment before He Jinyun quickly looked away.

Did Ye Zexi really like him?

To be honest, He Jinyun hadn't noticed anything.

But if it was about Ye Zexi liking the fried fish he made, that was definitely true.

Greedy like a cat.

He Jinyun's lips subtly lifted, and a fleeting smile crossed his eyes, though he didn't even realize it himself.

With the arrival of the final guest, the recording of 'The Food Journal' officially began.

Before the guests enjoyed their breakfast, the director's team announced the task for the day.

On the first day, the four guests were required to split into two teams. They would then follow the program's planned route, enjoying a day at Atlantis Water World and Dolphin Bay.

Simply put, the task for day one was for the guests to relax, eat, drink, and have fun.

Upon receiving the task card, Wei Bei couldn't believe it. "No tasks today? We just get to play? Seriously?"

The director earnestly responded, "No tasks."

"Really no tasks?" Wei Bei was skeptical, pressing further, "Are you sure there aren't any hidden traps for us?"

The director nodded.

Wei Bei rolled his eyes dramatically. "I don't believe you! Just trying to fool me!"

The director sighed helplessly. "There really are no traps."

Wei Bei huffed. "Then tell me this—why are we splitting into teams before breakfast? If today is truly a day of fun, there's no reason for us to split up. We could all just play together, right?"

"Making us form teams and then claiming there's no task? I'm telling you, something's definitely off!" Wei Bei stomped his foot in frustration.

The director chuckled and asked, "Why do you think something is off?"

Wei Bei declared confidently, "My sharp instincts!"

Everyone else burst out laughing.

Despite Wei Bei's relentless questioning, the director insisted there was nothing suspicious.

Eventually, even Wei Bei started to doubt himself.

Could it be that he was overthinking things?

The director, half-amused and half-exasperated, reassured him again. "There's really nothing wrong! We just want you to split into teams to get to know each other on the first day. Tomorrow, on the second day, there will be tasks."

Seeing the director so insistent, Wei Bei couldn't help but doubt his own suspicions. Could he have overthought things this time?

"Alright, I'll believe you for now," Wei Bei grumbled before smiling and explaining to the others, "I've been tricked by production teams too many times. Whenever they tell me there are no hidden traps, I'm always worried that by evening, they'll spring a surprise hidden task on us, something we need to figure out on our own."
