After confirming the contents of the photo, Ye Zexi stepped out of the booth.
Not long after, He Jinyun also emerged from his booth.
The two of them were the first among the guests to come out.
"How did it go?" He Jinyun asked in a low voice.
Ye Zexi waved the photo in his hand. "It's a fish."
He Jinyun's smile deepened. "Same here."
"But don't worry," He Jinyun added in a quiet voice.
Ye Zexi nodded, agreeing with him.
Shortly after, Tang Jing came out, followed by Wei Bei and You Jia, with Shan Zeyu being the last.
The moment Shan Zeyu stepped out, he couldn't help but complain, "Is this clue serious? It's just a picture, and I sat in there for ages trying to figure out what it means!"
Wei Bei gave him a meaningful look. "It's just a picture, right? You were in there for quite a while. Could it be that your clue is different from ours?"
Shan Zeyu immediately turned to Wei Bei. "Are you accusing me?"
"Hey, hey, I'm just speculating! You were in there for way too long," Wei Bei responded.
You Jia nodded in agreement. "Yeah, we've all been out for a while now. It's only natural for us to be suspicious."
Shan Zeyu, irritated, pulled out his clue and showed it to everyone. "How could I be the mole? Look for yourselves—how is my clue any different from yours?"
Wei Bei and You Jia exchanged glances, both frowning.
It really was the same clue.
At this point, Tang Jing spoke up, "Alright, arguing won't get us anywhere. We still don't know whether the civilians or the moles are winning, nor whether the clues from the production team are real or just meant to mislead us. Fighting among ourselves is pointless."
"Exactly," Ye Zexi agreed. "Tang Jing is right."
Tang Jing hadn't expected Ye Zexi to back him up, and he glanced over at him.
Ye Zexi smiled at him.
Tang Jing couldn't hold back a small smile in return, and when he turned back to the group, he sounded more confident. "I suggest that after the tasks for the first three days are done, we all share our information. It'll help us find the mole faster."
The idea of sharing information didn't seem like a problem.
After all, they still knew too little at this point.
Wei Bei and You Jia discussed it briefly and agreed.
Naturally, Ye Zexi and He Jinyun had no objections either.
Sharing information was a great idea. With their enemies in the open and themselves hidden, winning the game would be a breeze!
That evening, after returning to the hotel, each team received their respective rewards based on their performance that day.
Ye Zexi was thrilled as he went to collect their fresh vegetables, and when he saw that there was fish included, his eyes lit up.
"Teacher He—" Ye Zexi called out even before getting close to He Jinyun.
"What's up?" He Jinyun poked his head out from afar.
"Time to cook!" Ye Zexi announced.
He Jinyun smiled as he came over to help him. "Alright, let's go."
