I know I am messing with time a lot and you all are probably confused when everything is happening. The last chapter is 3 days into the future but this chapter is 3 days back when Becs first gets back to New York. I promise this will all make sense in this chapter and/or the next.
Also *Trigger Warning* Thoughts and almost attempt of suicide* (This chapter can be a lot and it was hard for me to write it but it had to be done for the storyline)
Becs POV:
I don't know why but when Lizzy started to pull me back, something inside me told me to talk to Jess and hear her out.
"Hang on guys, can you give us a minute?" I asked
Liam looked at me with a look I have never seen him have before.
"What the fuck Becs? You think I am going to leave you alone with her"
"No I know you but I do want to hear her out so can you just peep through the peephole on the dorm door."
He looked at Lizzy to see what she would say and I turned to her as well with the look that she knew.
"Babe, let's go inside." With that, Liam went back into the dorm and I stepped out into the hall.
"Thanks for giving me a chance." Jess said
"Jess, I am giving you a minute to explain yourself." I said with my arms crossed
"I want to try again. I know the last time we saw each other it wasn't the best but I swear, I have been to therapy and really really thought about what I did. I am so so so sorry."
"So you think you can just say sorry and everything is going to be better. Jess you tried to rape me!" I started to scream.
"Yes I know and there is nothing in the world I can do to make up for that but just know I am so so sorry and I really want my baby back" She started to come towards me and put a hand on my arm and started to move her nails up and down my arms which she knows is my weak spot.
"Jess I don't know, you have a lot of trust to build." I gazed into her eyes and with one look from, I gave in. I kissed her with every bone in my body and it felt like the first time we kissed with all the fireworks and possibilities.
We walked back in my dorm hand in hand, where I was met with a very unhappy Lizzy and Liam.
"Hey guys, we are back together!" I said with excitement. They both didn't say anything and I know they are disappointed but I was too happy to care.
The next few days were amazing, Jess and I didn't spend a second away from each other, although I wasn't allowed to have my phone. Jess told me it takes too much time away from us and we have to make up for lost time. Lizzy and Liam still aren't talking to me which I understand but Jess said if they can't accept us being together then maybe they aren't the truthest of friends.
One day, we were cuddling on the couch in her dorm around 10pm and I asked if I could have my phone for a little bit. She nodded and went to the drawer where she keeps my phone. When she handed it to me, I noticed I had quite a few text messages so I started to read through them and noticed that Taylor had reached out.
"Oh Taylor is in town, maybe I should make time to go visit her." I said
"Yea we should!" Jess jumped up with excitement
"Well I don't know if you should come with me."
"What, why not?"
"Well I haven't told her about us yet and I have a feeling she would tell Travis." I tried to explain.
