*Sorry this chapter is late, I had a bit going on. I don't know if this really counts because it isn't his intention but there is a bit of self harm in this chapter. I was not planning on this but if you need to skip it I'll put a warning up. Have fun reading pookies. :)*

Nico's Pov

Hades gave Nico an annoyed look, before turning to his brother.

"Let's finish this quickly. My son," Hades shot him a glare, "will be in his own area until we finish, so as to not disturb us."

With that, a shadow hand rose from the darkness and grabbed Nico, dragging him downward and into the shadows.

He was expecting to be transported to his room, or, hopefully, back to the Wayne Manor until Hades was finished, but he wasn't so lucky.

He fell out of the shadows into a small black room. There were no windows and no trace of a door.

Oh no.

He hadn't been in here since before the Second Giant War.

The shadow room as he liked to call it.

Before the Second Giant War, Hades had still been mad that Bianca had died and Nico had stayed alive. So he... what's the word. Trained Nico.

This training included dropping Nico off at a random place in the underworld to make sure he knew his way around, attacking him with hordes of skeletons to train him to hold his ground.

And this room.

Hades had said that it was so Nico could learn to, "Be one with the shadows." Nico guessed it was just so he could get a break from his demigod offspring, or maybe punish him for being weak.

After Nico got Hades some clout with the other gods though, Hades had sent him to this room less. Maybe once every few visits. Or when Nico almost lost a battle.

He had gotten used to it, though he hated it, that was another reason why he didn't like bright lights. It was too far from what he was used to.

But not... after the Jar he had become claustrophobic. He could barely handle being in the miniature room. He closed his eyes and did his best not to imagine the walls closing in on him, sucking up all the air on their way. He thought of happy thoughts. Hazel. His friends on the Argo II. Camp. The Waynes. Will.

He didn't know how long he was in there, but when he felt the familiar feeling of forced shadow travel, like the shadows are pulling you in with them, he finally opened his eyes.

Hades looked down on him with a stern expression. Nico scrambled to right his body and kneel, before the god forced him to.

"Child," Hades narrowed his eyes, "You've come to ask how much you can tell that mortal family of yours about us?"

Nico nodded.

"Well," Hades waved his hands dismissively, "I've already talked it over with Hecate. You can say whatever you want. But if you say something that would directly tell them. Then your voice will immediately disappear until you find something else to say. They'll have to figure it out with the clues you can give them."

Nico nodded, grateful, though he didn't love the disappearing voice part of it.

Hades nodded and waved his hand.

The shadows pulled Nico in once more. He tumbled through the air and landed right on top of his bed in the Wayne Manor.

He looked up to see the shocked Wayne brothers staring at him. To the side of them was another black haired boy that had sea green eyes, and a blond girl with piercing gray eyes.
