*I don't have a life so here's a second chapter. Might give you a third too cause why not.*

Nico's Pov

He woke up in the infirmary. He hadn't even opened his eyes yet and the stupid fluorescent lights were already hurting them. It sounded like two people were having a conversation at the foot of his bed.

"Can someone turn off those lights?" He mumbled, interrupting whoever had been speaking.

"Of course," He heard Bruce say, then someone get up and the lights turned off moments later.

He finally managed to pry his eyes open. He saw Will, Bruce, Dick, and Hazel sitting at the foot of his bed.

"What in Hades happened?" He asked, Bruce grimaced.

"Just that actually, Hades stabbed you." His voice was full of barely restrained anger.

Nico laughed, "I just had to open my mouth didn't I?"

Bruce shook his head, looking a bit concerned.

"It isn't your fault Nico. It was Hades that stabbed you."

"That's the fun part," Nico smiled and did his best to sit up, fighting through the pain, "He wouldn't have done it if I hadn't said what I said. He has a, how do I say it, a sense of humor."

"This is in no way funny." Bruce glared at the ground before looking back at Nico, "You shouldn't have to deal with that."

All three demi-gods grimaced.

"Don't talk like that," Hazel said, "We obviously don't get to choose what we have to deal with, but there are perks. I wouldn't be siblings with Nico and Violet probably wouldn't be alive if it weren't for the gods. Hades can be a good father. He just has his moments."

Nico nodded, "Like, he allowed me to accept being adopted by you guys. A lot of the others probably wouldn't let their kids. In fact, Will's own father would probably be annoyed about it. Hades can be a good father."

Bruce didn't seem convinced, but he didn't seem to want to continue the argument, so he changed the topic.

"Boyfriend?"

Nico looked at him confused, then remembered Hades' last words to him.

"I... ummm..." Nico didn't know what to say, he didn't even know if Will actually wanted to be his boyfriend, "Would you believe me if I said that was his humor again?"

Bruce shook his head.

"It's fine. I figured it out a while ago. And Will turned as bright as a tomato as soon as he mentioned it. That mostly confirmed it."

Nico breathed out a sigh of relief, he really did now want to explain it. But he was also a bit angry. There went another god outing him in front of people he wasn't ready to tell.

"Wait," Hazel was looking between Nico and Will confused, "What do you mean? Did Hades mean girlfriend? And why is Will embarrassed?"

That made Nico freeze up again. How had he forgotten about Hazel? She was from the same time period as him, and he was assuming she thought the same way about the LGBTQ+ community as he used to.

But Will, being the beautiful idiot he was, didn't think any of this.

"Nico and I are dating." Will was basically beaming when he said it, that's when Nico realized that he might actually feel the same way.

"Oh," Hazel seemed slightly confused for a moment before she lit up, "That's amazing. I'm so happy for you two."

Nico probably visibly relaxed considering to the pitying looks Dick was shooting him.
