Will's Pov

Will was overwhelmed and stressed.

Nico was missing, Bruce was off doing his own thing, there was a new prophecy that apparently he was a part of, and now there was the issue with the border.

At first Will had thought Dick was joking, or maybe he just had really bad eyesight. But then the other three boys stepped through.

They all shared a look, then Jason turned to him.

"We don't see a camp, just a strawberry field and a farmhouse."

Will ran his hands through his hair. He really wished Nico was there right now. Not that it would change the situation, it would just make him feel better.

"Follow me," Annabeth sighed, "Let's go talk to the Hecate Cabin. They're the magical ones."

He sighed and turned back to the Wayne's.

"Follow us very closely, Nico would kill me if you got impaled or torched."

This didn't seem to make them much more confident, but they followed him. He did his best to navigate them through the safest way over to Cabin 20. Eventually they got there and Will knocked on the door.

One of the girls poked her head out for a moment, saw Will, and immediately ducked back in.

A minute later Lou Ellen stepped out, looking annoyed.

"What's up Will? I thought you were too busy with your boyfriend to hang out with me?"

"Nico's missing."

Her eyes widened and she looked behind him, probably noticing the Waynes, "I'm sorry, what do you need me for?"

"These are the Waynes, Nico's adoptive family. I brought them in but for some reason they couldn't see the camp. Only the strawberry fields, the big house, and..." He glanced back at them.

"Sheds." Dick explained, that explained the confused look the Waynes were giving the cabins and infirmary.

"Yeah that," He turned back to the girl, "We were wondering if you could help us clear the Mist from their eyes."

"Um, sure." Lou looked a bit concerned, but she poked her head back into her cabin and called saying that she was going to be gone for a bit, then she led them away.

"You boys can still see the woods right?" She asked the Waynes.

"Yes we can still see the trees." Damian responded.

"Good, cause that's where we're going."

Will was tempted to argue with her, mortals should definitely not be going into the forest, but he didn't care. Nico was in danger.

They walked close to the center, Lou looked like she was searching for something, then she paused.

"This is good." She turned to the Waynes, "You all have multiple, very thick layers of Mist covering your eyes. It's going to take me a while, and a lot of energy, to peel them away."

The Waynes seemed a little hesitant but they agreed, they turned to talk between themselves for a moment then Damian shoved Tim forward.

"Do it on Tim first." Jason said, smirking.

Lou shrugged and pulled him closer, he looked reluctant but didn't complain. She put her hands over his eyes and closed her own, concentrating.

Will watched for a few minutes wondering how long this was going to take, then Lou's eyes flew open.

"What the heck?" She glared at Tim, looking frustrated, "I keep taking off the layers of Mist, but it just comes back in a few seconds. What the heck is wrong here?"

"Have you ever seen something like this before?" Annabeth questioned.

"Only a few times," She muttered, "But that's only when..."

Her eyes widened and she turned to look at Will. She looked like she wanted to say something, then someone spoke.

"Hello my daughter."

Will froze when he heard the voice. It was just like his nightmare from right after he'd heard the prophecy, when Nico's been kidnapped again.

He turned around to see a tall lady with long black hair.

"Mother." Lou Ellen immediately kneeled, the others didn't do the same.

Percy had his sword out in seconds, Annabeth followed. The Waynes got into a fighting position. Will didn't know what to do, he didn't have a weapon with him, and he had a feeling like he wouldn't be able to make the goddess of magic sick.

"Where's Nico?" Percy demanded.

"Oh that little depressed boy." Hecate smiled, "He's off doing his own thing, that isn't what I'm here for though."

"That's what we're here for." Will was pissed at this lady, she'd taken his boyfriend, "Tell us where Nico is."

She laughed, "Are you trying to tell me what to do demi-god? Never mind actually. Let's get to what I'm here for. I'm here to give you Waynes, the Hecate cabin, Will here, and the seven demigods of the second prophecy a proposal."

"What's that my lady?" Lou asked, Will glared at her.

"Come serve under me. You'll get control over the Mist, or more control in your case my dear Lou, power over magic, and you won't be dragged into the losing side of another war."

"No way," Percy snapped, "Just give us back Nico and leave us alone."

Hecate shook her head, "The Greek gods have never given me enough credit. It's because of me that the mortals don't know everything about us and go insane. I'm just looking for some fairness. I'm taking Gotham City as my own lady. Work with me, or work against me."

Dick stepped forward, looking mad. "You aren't getting Gotham. Just give us back Nico and go back to doing your job as a goddess or whatever."

Hecate shook her head, looking a bit sad.

"Too bad, I didn't want poor Nico to have to fight against you. Maybe if you'd joined me then he'd get his memories back. I would say good luck then, but I don't want you to have that."

She smiled, then disappeared in a flash of light.
