Luciana's POV

The day started off with a burst of energy and excitement as Lamine and I headed out to pick up Gavi's cake. The whole idea of getting him an Angry Birds cake with a picture of him scoring was Lamine's idea, and I had to admit, it was perfect. Gavi would get a kick out of it, especially since it captured his intense game face in a way that was both funny and true to his personality. Lamine was practically bouncing with excitement as we reached the bakery.

"Man, this cake is going to be legendary," Lamine said, grinning as the bakery employee brought it out. It was bright, bold, and unmistakably Gavi—frosted in reds and yellows, with his action shot dead center.

I laughed, shaking my head. "You're going to be the reason he never forgets this birthday."

"Angry Birds is perfect for him," Lamine said, laughing as we arrived at the bakery. "It's like he's angry 24/7."

I chuckled. "He's going to flip when he sees this. You're crazy, you know that?"

"That's the plan," Lamine said, whipping out his phone and snapping a picture. He quickly posted it on Instagram, adding a cheeky caption that would make Gavi laugh but also roll his eyes. Can't wait for Gavi to see his true self in cake form! he wrote, followed by a bunch of laughing emojis.

We left the bakery and headed straight to the store to pick up snacks, drinks, and a questionable amount of alcohol. It was like we were gearing up for a championship game, the way Lamine went about tossing things into the cart without a second thought. Chips, candy, bottles of soda, and way too much liquor—he was on a mission, and I wasn't about to slow him down.

"You think this is enough?" I asked, eyeing the mountain of party supplies.

Lamine smirked. "If anything, it's not enough. You know how we do."

Once we'd checked out, we loaded everything into the car and drove to Gavi's apartment. Lamine pulled out Gavi's keys with a mischievous grin, the metal glinting in the sunlight.

You stole his keys?" I asked, half-shocked, half-impressed.

"Borrowed," he corrected, unlocking the door with a flourish. "He'll get them back...eventually."

"You really are the worst," I teased. "Gavi's going to kill you for this."

"Worth it," Lamine said confidently as he unlocked the door and swung it open. "What's the point of having friends if you can't mess with them?"

We set to work, unloading the bags and arranging the cake in the middle of the table. It was like a mini football match had broken out in the apartment, everyone buzzing around, setting up decorations, and rearranging furniture to make space. Lamine, Balde, and Ansu had invited some of Gavi's closest friends and teammates, making sure it was a lively gathering.

People started arriving one by one—Pedri, Ferran, Frenkie, Mikky, Valeria, and a few others, each contributing to the setup. There were streamers, balloons, and photos of Gavi plastered around the room, and by the time we were done, the place looked incredible. We'd even set up a small photo booth in the corner with props, so there would be plenty of embarrassing pictures by the end of the night.

Once everything was in place, Lamine dropped me back home to change for the party. I opted for a sleek, black tight dress that hugged my figure perfectly, ending just above my knees. I straightened my hair, letting it fall smoothly down my back, and did my makeup lightly—a bit of eyeliner and a nude lip. I felt confident and ready for the night. Dante, who had decided to come with me, wore a casual yet stylish outfit—a white shirt with dark jeans that highlighted his sharp features. Dante and I made our way back to Gavi's apartment, and as soon as we walked in, the atmosphere was already buzzing with excitement.
