Luciana's POV

my mind was a tangled mess of guilt, regret, and confusion. I needed a distraction, something to help me clear my head. As it turned out, Mikky, Frenkie, Valeria, Jake, and I were all set to go to an Ariana Grande concert. Frenkie had invited Pedri, and although I wasn't thrilled about the idea, I kept my reservations to myself.

The evening arrived with a crisp energy that seemed to match the excitement in the air. We all gathered at the venue, buzzing with anticipation. The crowd's energy was electric as we made our way to our seats. Pedri showed up right on time, and I could feel the weight of his presence. We exchanged polite but somewhat distant hellos, both of us still processing our recent encounters.

"Hey, Luciana, how are you holding up?" Frenkie asked, giving me a warm smile.

I tried to muster a cheerful tone. "I'm good, just looking forward to the concert. How about you?"

"Can't complain. Ready to enjoy some good music with everyone," Frenkie replied, clapping Pedri on the back as he joined us.

Valeria, Mikky, and Jake were already in high spirits, chatting animatedly about the setlist and their favorite Ariana Grande songs. I tried to immerse myself in their excitement, but my thoughts kept drifting back to Pedri and the complicated web we were tangled in.

The lights dimmed, and the crowd erupted in cheers as Ariana Grande took the stage. Her voice filled the arena with its familiar, ethereal quality, and the excitement was palpable. The concert was a feast for the senses—bright lights, vibrant colors, and an atmosphere thick with anticipation.

As Ariana began singing "Best Mistake," my heart skipped a beat. The song resonated deeply with me, reflecting the tumultuous relationship I had with Pedri. It was as if the universe was reminding me of the very essence of our past. I looked around, catching Valeria's and Mikky's eyes as they sang along with enthusiasm. They knew how much this song meant to me, and their support was evident in their smiles.

Valeria leaned over and whispered so no one else could hear, "This song—it's like it was written for you and Pedri"

I nodded, unable to form words over the volume of the music. The lyrics felt like they were echoing my own internal struggle:

"How soon do we forget how we felt
Dealing with emotions that never left

Break up, make up, total waste of time
Can we please make up our minds
And stop acting like we're blind?

'Cause if the water dries up and the moon stops shining
Stars fall, and the world goes blind, boy
You know I'll be saving my love for you, for you"

I could feel the weight of the lyrics pressing down on me. It was a reminder of the mess I was in, the choices I had made, and the lingering feelings that I couldn't escape.

Pedri, standing a few feet away, seemed lost in the music as well. Occasionally, I caught him glancing over at me, his eyes betraying a mixture of longing and sadness. It was clear that he felt the same way I did about the song.

The chorus hit, and Ariana sang:

"'Cause you're the best mistake I've ever made
But we hold on, mmh, hold on"

I felt a lump in my throat as I sang along, my voice blending with Valeria's and Mikky's. The song seemed to weave its way through the crowd, binding us in a shared sense of nostalgia and unresolved feelings.

Pedri moved closer to where I was standing, and we ended up side by side, singing along with the crowd. For a moment, the chaos of our recent past seemed to fade away, replaced by the simple joy of being in the moment.
