As I paced around my kitchen, anticipation surged within me. I had finally worked up the courage to ask Luciana out on a date at my place, but I was quickly reminded of how little I knew about cooking. My palms were sweaty with the thought of preparing a meal for someone as special as her.

"Okay, time to call Fernando," I muttered to myself, dialing my older brother's number.

"Hello?" Fernando answered, his voice casual.

"Hey, can you help me out? I have Luciana coming over for dinner, and I need some cooking tips!" I rushed out, hoping he'd be available.

"Of course! What are you planning to make?" he asked.

"I thought maybe pizza and spaghetti? It sounds simple enough," I said, half hopeful.

"Great choice! Let's keep it easy. I'll swing by to help," Fernando replied with enthusiasm. I was thankful I had Fer in my life.

Once Fernando arrived, we gathered the ingredients, and I watched as he expertly guided me through the process.

"First, let's make the pizza dough. It's pretty straightforward," he instructed, rolling up his sleeves. "Just remember, don't overwork it!"

"Got it," I nodded, following his lead.

"While that rises, we'll prepare the spaghetti. You know how to boil water, right?" Fernando teased, and I rolled my eyes, trying to ignore the slight jab.

"Yeah, yeah," I laughed. "Just show me how to do it properly."

After a bit of chaos in the kitchen, we had everything ready. I made the pizza and put it into the oven and Fer helped with the pasta. I rushed to the store to grab some vanilla ice cream, knowing it was the perfect dessert.

"Just put it in the freezer to keep it cold until dessert," Fernando advised. "You can't go wrong with ice cream, trust me."

"Thanks, Fer. I owe you one," I said, relief washing over me as he helped me finish the meal.

Luciana's POV

As I stood outside Pedri's door, excitement bubbled within me. I could hardly believe he'd invited me over for dinner. When the door swung open, I was greeted by the familiar smile of Fernando.

"Luciana! It's been a while," he said, pulling me into a quick hug.

"It has! How have you been?" I asked, stepping inside.

"Busy, as always. I'm just helping Pedri with dinner, but I need to get going before I ruin the date," Fernando chuckled, glancing toward the kitchen.

"Wait, did he really need your help?" I inquired, a teasing smile on my lips.

"Let's just say cooking isn't his strong suit," Fernando replied, shaking his head with a grin. "But he's getting there!"

"Good luck, you two!" I waved as he slipped out, leaving me alone with Pedri.

"Hey, Luci I hope you're hungry," he greeted, his cheeks slightly flushed.

"I am! It smells amazing in here," I said, taking a seat at the small dining table. "What did you make?"

"Just some pizza and spaghetti," he replied with a hint of pride, setting the dishes on the table. "Fernando helped a bit with everything"

"Come on Pedri, the foods gonna cool down" I said eagerly, and we both served ourselves generous portions.

As we sat down, I took my first bite and was pleasantly surprised. "Wow, this is actually really good!"

"I had a good teacher," he replied with a wink, his confidence shining through.
