Luciana's POV
The crisp autumn air hung around the training ground as Valeria and I made our way towards the pitch, cameras slung over our shoulders. It was another typical day of work for us, filming the boys' training sessions for the club's social media content. Even though we had done this a million times before, it never got old, especially watching them all crack jokes and get competitive during the drills.
"Gavi's in full mode today," Valeria chuckled, nodding toward the pitch where Gavi was racing against Balde, both of them grinning like madmen as they sprinted.
"They're like a pair of overgrown kids," I said, adjusting my camera to get a better angle. "But it's always fun to watch."
"They look ready for the next match," Valeria commented, squinting at the players through the lens of her camera.
"Definitely," I agreed, moving the camera to follow Pedri's movements. "Especially Gavi. Look at him go."
Valeria chuckled. "He's always full of energy."
We set up our equipment at the side of the field, capturing the boys as they went through their warm-up drills. Pedri, Gavi, Ansu, Balde, Hector and Pablo Torre were joking around as usual, with Ferran egging them on from the sidelines. Training days were some of the best days—not only because it was our job, but because we got to see everyone in their element. The energy was infectious.
After filming a few more drills and grabbing some close-up shots, we wrapped up the training footage. Now, it was time for the real fun.
"Are you ready for the exploding balloons game?" Valeria asked, grinning as she looked at the big colorful bag of balloons we'd brought along.
"I'm ready," I replied with a laugh. "Let's see if the two Pablos are though."
Valeria gave me a mischievous look as we walked over to where the boys were cooling down. Gavi was sitting on the grass, stretching his legs, while Pablo was chatting with Ferran nearby. When they saw us approaching, Gavi raised an eyebrow, already suspicious.
"What are you two up to?" Gavi asked, narrowing his eyes.
"nothing," I said innocently, though my grin gave me away.
Pablo, clearly intrigued, stood up and wandered over. "What's going on?"
"Well, I'm glad you asked!" Valeria beamed. "You two are going to be in a YouTube challenge—'Exploding Balloons!' Basically, we ask you questions, and you have to give us a correct answer before passing the balloon to the other person. If the balloon pops on you, the other guy gets a point."
Pablo's eyes widened slightly. "Wait, it's going to explode on us?"
I grinned. "Yeah, that's kind of the whole point."
Gavi smirked, clearly intrigued now. "Sounds fun. I'm in. What about you, Pablo?"
Pablo shrugged but was already smiling. "Why not? But don't blame me if I'm terrible at this."
After setting up the cameras, we handed the first balloon to Gavi. He looked at it, amused but a little nervous as he cradled it in his hands.
"Okay, Gavi," I started, holding my phone with the questions. "First one: How many La Liga titles has Barcelona won?"
Gavi furrowed his brow, "26...No 27?"
I gave him a nod, and he quickly passed the balloon to Pablo, who took it with a little hesitation.
"Pablo," Valeria read the next question from her phone. "How many goals has Lionel Messi scored for Barcelona?"
Pablo's face scrunched up in concentration. "I know this! Uh... 672?"
