We just finished filming the TikTok with Lamine, Ansu, and Balde. The energy was infectious, and I couldn't stop laughing.
"Alright, you guys! That was crazy" Valeria declared, brushing her hair back.
"Definitely! We need to do more of these," Ansu said, grinning.
Balde nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah, but we can't let Pedri see them! He'll be jealous of our moves."
I chuckled, but then it hit me. It was already nearly the 25th of November "Oh shit, I forgot! His birthday is in two days!"
"Don't worry about it," Valeria said, waving her hand dismissively. "I don't even think Pedri remembers his birthday. We're throwing him a surprise party at your apartment!"
I stopped in my tracks, confusion washing over me. "Wait, why my apartment?"
"Because," Lamine chimed in with a cheeky grin, "you're going to pretend to ask him to stay over at yours after a fancy dinner. He'll obviously agree, because he is head over heels for you and when you arrive, we're going to surprise him!"
I raised an eyebrow, trying to process everything. "That sounds like a lot of work..."
"Don't worry, we've got it all planned out!" Ansu said, nudging me playfully. "Now, let's go shopping for his gift!"
We arrived at the shopping center, and the excitement was palpable. "So, what are we thinking for gifts?" I asked as we browsed through the stores.
Valeria shrugged. "I have no idea, you know him best."
"Something he'd actually use. Like cologne or a watch. I saw a Prada cologne the other day." I suggested.
"And I'll grab him a new watch! He needs something stylish," Valeria added.
As we moved through the store, I picked up a beautiful two-piece silk nude set— a corset and a matching short skirt. "I need this," I said, holding it up to show Valeria.
"Oh my god, yes! You have to get that!" she exclaimed, eyes wide with excitement.
"Just make sure you wear it when you invite him over," Lamine teased, raising an eyebrow.
"Shut up!" I laughed, rolling my eyes playfully.
As we continued shopping, the boys were busy browsing shirts and shorts. Ansu held up a bright yellow shirt. "What do you think? Too flashy?"
Balde smirked. "If you want Pedri to be blinded, sure!"
They both burst into laughter, and I couldn't help but join in. It felt good to be surrounded by friends, joking and laughing.
I found a stunning black short dress. "This would look amazing on you, val. You should try it on!"
"Maybe I will!" she said, eyeing the dress with interest.
After a bit more wandering, we gathered our items and made our way to the checkout. I placed the cologne and the watch on the counter.
"Nice choices!" the sales assistant said.
"Thanks! They're for my friend's birthday," I replied, not knowing what to call him.
Once we were done, we headed out to grab a bite to eat. As we settled down at a café, I couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement about the party.
"Okay, so we need to finalize the details," Valeria said, leaning in. "What time should we have him come over?"
"I'll tell him we'll go out for a birthday dinner with Fernando and then I'll ask if he wants to stay over at mine and when we open the door you guys will be there." I suggested.
"Perfect! He won't suspect a thing," Lamine assured me, a grin plastered on his face.
"Exactly! It's going to be so much fun," Ansu added, clearly excited.
After we finished eating, I felt a rush of joy. This was going to be amazing, and I couldn't wait to see Pedri's reaction. As we walked back, I glanced at my bag, feeling proud of the gifts we had chosen.
"Just wait until he sees all of this," I said, beaming at my friends.
"He's going to love it! And you, of course," Gavi chimed in with a wink.
I felt my cheeks heat up as I brushed off the compliment. "Okay, okay, let's just focus on the party"
When I finally got home after a long day of shopping with the guys, I dropped my bags by the door, sighing in relief. It had been a whirlwind of a day, planning Pedri's surprise party and picking out his gifts. I was just about to flop on the couch when my phone buzzed.
Pedri: "Hey, can I come over?"
I felt a flutter in my chest, and my fingers hovered over the keyboard for a moment.
Me: "Of course, come by."
Not even ten minutes later, there was a soft knock at my door. I opened it to find Pedri standing there, a nervous yet hopeful smile on his face.
"Hey," he said quietly, stepping closer and wrapping his arms around me in a warm hug. I melted into him instantly, feeling that familiar comfort of being close to him again. I'd missed him more than I realized.
He pulled back slightly, his eyes searching mine before he leaned in, pressing his lips to mine. The kiss started slow, soft, but quickly deepened as we held each other tighter, like we were making up for all the lost time. When we finally pulled away, he rested his forehead against mine, his breath coming out in soft pants.
"I love you, Luciana," he whispered, his voice raw with emotion.
Hearing those words again made my heart race. "I love you too, Pedri," I said softly, my fingers tracing the edge of his jaw. "I never stopped."
His lips found mine again, more urgent this time, and everything else faded away. We stumbled back toward my bedroom, barely breaking the kiss as our hands roamed, reacquainting ourselves with each other.
Once we reached the bedroom, Pedri gently laid me down on the bed, his eyes never leaving mine. "Are you sure?" he asked softly, his voice barely above a whisper.
I nodded, biting my lip as I reached up to pull him down toward me. "I'm sure," I whispered back.
The next moments were filled with soft whispers, tender touches, and a closeness that I had missed so much. Every kiss, every touch felt like we were making up for all the time we'd spent apart.
Afterward, we lay tangled in each other's arms, the quiet hum of the city outside the only sound in the room. Pedri's fingers trailed lazily over my arm as I rested my head against his chest, listening to the steady beat of his heart.
"I've missed this," he said after a while, breaking the comfortable silence. "Being with you like this."
"I missed it too," I murmured, closing my eyes as his hand continued to trace soft patterns on my skin. "It feels right, being here with you."
Pedri shifted slightly, propping himself up on one elbow so he could look down at me. "I don't ever want to let you go again, Luciana," he said seriously, his eyes filled with emotion. "I was stupid to let you go in the first place. I know we have a lot to figure out, but... I want this. I want you."
I smiled up at him, my heart swelling with affection. "I want you too," I whispered, reaching up to cup his cheek. "Let's take it slow this time, but... I'm ready."
He leaned down, brushing a gentle kiss across my forehead. "Slow sounds good," he murmured against my skin.
We stayed like that for a while longer, wrapped up in each other, until we finally fell asleep. This time, though, I felt at peace, knowing we were both on the same page.
