Time passed by fast when you least expected it, junior year came and went with not much happening in Auradon, nothing or no one notable like Maleficent or Uma happened again which was a good thing of course. It seemed like everything was going to be fine, but they say there's always the calm before the storm. Of course, the people of Auradon didn't know that, they were just glad that a year passed with the peaceful tranquility they were used to before the vk's arrival.

The most exciting thing about that year, for the students at least, was that Auradon Prep would now require uniforms.

The new uniform consisted of a blue blazer with the Auradon Prep Crest, a striped blue and gold tie, a white button-up shirt, black pants/shorts for the warm weather, and a blue-gold plaid pleated skirt. The students could pair the uniform with whatever shoes they wanted, so long as they wore shoes, and there were no rules against hair or accessories which meant they could still express themselves freely.

No one knew why Fairy Godmother had decided to implement uniforms, many simply chalked it up to anti-bullying- if everyone wore uniforms then no one would get bullied for their styling choices.

This wasn't the actual reason, the real reason was Adam.

After Bella was outed, he woke up to the way his daughter was being talked about in magazines and gossip blogs. He suddenly became a fashion critic, every outfit she wore had to be approved by him before she got to leave the castle. Bella had protested but Belle was able to reason with her, so she begrudgingly gave in. Adam's reasoning for this was that if he couldn't control the way men perceived Bella, then he would control what she wore to prevent men from being creeps. Yeah not the best choice of words but the sentiment was there.

He wasn't blaming her or the clothes, he was simply trying to get men to stop looking at her, and so he suggested to Fairy Godmother that uniforms would be a good idea so all the students were protected in that same way, Fairy Godmother couldn't agree more.

Uniform aside, everything at school stayed the same.

Bella went back to her sports, to being involved in school plays and musicals, with Evie joining her by helping with costumes which meant they got to spend even more time together. They were public now which meant they were able to be a couple in front of people- which was very scary at first.

The girls had spent most of their summer with their friends either on the castle grounds, at the beach, or by the Enchanted Lake which meant that Bella hadn't seen her classmates since before the last week of school and thus hadn't been subjected to their opinions, well besides those that she saw online.

The first time she was back at school was for their junior orientation day, people stared and whispered to their friends when she passed but nothing was directly said to her face. Bella had hoped that by August it would've died down and gone back to normal, which it sort of did.

The article outing her had done a good amount of damage, the pictures from it spread which meant that Bella had to walk around school knowing her peers had seen her exposed and vulnerable, it was humiliating. Especially whenever the boys acted like dogs when she walked by them, at least the pictures of Evie were more covered up, as in the most you saw was her bra compared to Bella's full chest.

The first month back to school was uncomfortable, to say the least, but the harassment came to an end when someone decided to put their hands on Evie in front of Bella, who had taken self-defense lessons from Jay during the summer. After a broken nose and several ice packs to the groin, most of the boys at school figured out it was best to leave the girls alone.

Eventually, things went back to normal, or as normal as they could be for Bella. The media was still harsh when it came to her but at least the kids at school didn't believe everything they read, unlike their parents...
