Chapter 1

Kayla's POV

As I clicked on the order button for VIP Magcon tickets I was just about jumping up and down in excitement. I can't believe me and my best friends Sophie, Mallory and Kassidy are going to Magcon. How can this get any better?

Kassidy's POV

Although it was 1am I was just laying in bed reading when my phone started ringing. I looked at it and the caller ID said Nemo, which is Kayla's nickname, because she's a lot like Nemo.

I answered it and was greeted by a very high pitched scream the first thought that crossed my mind is that she's probably being murdered.

"ARE YOU BEINF MURDERED?" I said once my ears stopped ringing and the screaming stopped.

"No, if I was being murdered id call the police."  She said.

"Well then why are you screaming?"

"Guess" She says

"Oh I don't know adopted a puppy, like seriously Kayla its 1am" I said with a bit of annoyance in my voice.

"Well, 1. I know for a fact that you weren't even sleeping and 2. Don't use that attitude with me or you won't be going."

It took me a minute to realize what she was talking about but when I did it was my turn to scream.

I hope I didnt wake anyone up.

Just then my bedroom door flew open and there stood mum.

Shit. Guess I did wake someone up. Oops.

"Kass keep it down some people sleep in this house." Mum said.

"Sorry mum but Kayla got us tickets to go to Magcon! "

"Kass that's awesome I'm so pumped for you!"

"Pumped? Really mum?"

Mum nodded her head smiling. "Now get some sleep" she said walking out of my room.

I picked up my phone.

I heard laughing on the other end of the phone. " I love your mum so much!"

Kayla's POV

Once I got off the phone with Kassidy I called Sophie and Mallory. Mallory was at Sophie's house for the night so I'd be killing two birds with one stone.

The phone wrang a couple of times until a half asleep Sophie answered.

"Yes?" she asked.

"Seriously its only 1:30am and you guys are asleep? No proper greeting either. "

"Its 1:30am and theirs no time for your smart stuff, Kayla." Sophie said.

"Is Mallory awake?" I asked changing the topic.

"No"

"Wake her up its urgent." I said wanting to get the great news out.

"Mmm Kay"

On the other end of the line I heard a loud thud.

"I'm not even going to ask what you did to her. "

Mallory's POV

I was awoken by hitting the floor.

"Seriously?" I said looking at Sophie who was trying not to laugh.

"Kayla's on the phone ansd she wanted me to wake you up."

"So this is her fault?" I said getting up with off the floor and grabbing the phone out of Sophie's hand.

"Put it on speaker." Kayla ordered, I obeyed suddenly too tired to sass her.

"Now why I called...WERE GOING TO MAGCON!" Kayla announced.

After that their was a lot of fangirling.
