Chapter 42

Matt's POV 

I woke up to Mallory sleeping peacefully next to me. I don't even know what we're doing today, but the girls probably have something in mind.

I quietly get out of bed since they flip shit if you wake them up.

Down the hallway I see the door sitting next to the bathroom. Completely off.

I rub my eyes to make sure I'm seeing things right. The door is still there. 

Just then Sophie walks up to me holding a screw driver and some nails.

"What the fuck happened?" I whisper.

"I broke the door off the hinges by accident this is the second damn time.

I laugh.

"So why didn't you use a elective drill?" I ask as I hold the door up for her.

"Because I'll wake them up and they'll be angry as fuck."

*9pm*

Kassidy's POV

Everyone had to go out. So it's just us 8.

"Guys lets pay hide and go seek in the dark!" Kayla says jumping up from her chair.

"No, now sit down." Mallory says in a stern voice.

"C'mon guys." Kayla says begging.

I swear she's like a little kid.

I sigh and give in.

She turns off all the lights and we partner up. Sophie and Cam are counting.

We all split up.

I take Shawn's hand. On our way to the kitchen I grab a pillow case.

I fill it with a forks and a rolling pin.

"What are you doing?" He whispers.

"Weapons." I say slinging it on my back. Like a ninja turtle.

Sophie yells "READY OR NOT HERE WE COME."

I duck into the room. Cam walks by. I let out a laugh. Cam slowly backtracks.

I run to the other side of the room and take things out of the pillow case.

I take a fork and throw it. Just trying to distract him.

"OW WHO THE FUCK DID THAT?" I hear someone yell then the light come on.

There's cam standing with the fork stuck in his hand.

Everyone must have heard because they're soon behind him.

"I CALL PULLING IT OUT." Kayla yells fast.

"FUCK YOU I WANTED TO DO THAT." Mallory yells back.

"TOO LATE SUCKER."

"NO ONE IS PULLING THE FORK OUT OF MY HAND." Cam yells.

"Sha'll I call 9-1-fucking-1?" Nash asks.

Cam nods and within minutes the ambulance is hear with Cam in the back with Sophie on the way to the hospital. With us all trailing behind it.

When we get to the desk. We all ask to see Cam but were denied.

We all settle in the waiting room instead.

"This is boring." Shawn groans.

If I don't say that's hot I'd be lying.

"Thanks babe." Shawn says looking at me with his classic smirk.

"I said that aloud?" I ask wide eyed.

Shawn nods his head.

"Gosh get a room." Kayla says.

"Just like you and Nash probably did while playing hide and go seek?" I fire back.

"Shut up Kass." Kayla says altho I see her cheeks flush a pink color.

"Guys who has fluffy pants!" Sophie says coming out and distributing blue hospital pants.

"Cam didn't even have to wear these though." Matt says.

"Yeah..well it's like a tradition now." Sophie says.

Cam pays the hospital bill-since they have to pay with him not being Canadian- and we all get in the car, driving back to Kass' grandparents.
