Chapter 52

Nash's POV

I woke up with I don't even know who's feet in my face.

We were up till 5am when we finally crashed after finishing all 9 seasons of how I met your mother. And let me tell you it was a stupid fucking idea.

I twist on the couch to find my phone. I hear a soft thump on the floor and look down to see Kayla laying on the floor still sound asleep.

Shit. I just knocked my soon to be fiancé on the Floor. I have been thinking about proposing to Kayla. We are still young but we've been together for almost 3 years and I am in love with her.

I find my phone and unlock it. 10:07am.

I get up off the couch picking, Kayla up and walking upstairs back to our apartment.

I place Kayla in bed and crawl in beside her.

I try to get back to sleep but I just keep tossing and turning, I keep thinking.

Finally after 30 minutes of rolling around in bed I get up and walk back downstairs to Cam and Sophie's apartment.

Inside everyone is awake and I'm sure, caffeinated.

"Hey guys can I talk to you for a second?" I ask rubbing the back of my neck. I'm so nervous.

No one says anything they just look at me.

"So for awhile I've been umm....I've been thinking of proposing to Kayla. Kass, Mal, Soph, I want your permission and well...I'm gonna need your guys' help." I said.

Everyone looks at me with wide eyes.

"My little Nashyy is all grown up." Cam says wrapping an arm around my neck and pinching my cheek.

I seat his hand away.

I turn back to everyone else and see Kass, Mal and Sophie all huddled in a group.

Kass turns and looks at me. "You have our permission but don't hurt her I could kick your ass at the flick of a wrist and well...Kayla could too, that girl is like the damn hulk."

I laugh.

"Bye guys were going to get a ring!" Cam yells leading me out the door. Someone's insistent.

"Could you be any louder." Matt says following us out along with Shawn.

"Never mind were going to buy an elephant!" Cam yells flashing us a grin.

"Genius cover up." Shawn says.

At the jewelry store were looking through cases filled with rings.

I've been looking at rings for 30 minutes now, I've looked over each about 50 000 times. But I just can't seem to think of which to get. It has to be perfect, I want Kayla to love it.

"Nash what about this one?" Cam says from across the room.

I walk over to him. All the guys who are here join us. Cams pointing at a silver ring with diamonds going up the sides and then at the top theirs a big diamond. (Picture above)

"Can I see that one sir?" I ask the jeweller. He takes it out and places it delicately in my hand.

I examine it. This is the one.  

*Later that night*

Kassidy's POV

"I don't know if I can do this." Nash said from the the other end of my phone.

"I know your nervous but grow a damn pair." I said.

"Okay I'm like a queen of being harsh but that was harsh" Mallory said.

I roll my eyes. "I have to go, make sure you're there." I say hanging up the phone.

I finished spreading out an outfit for Kayla to put on on the bed. A pair of black leggings and an oversized red muscle shirt. Nothing fancy. Don't want to make it obvious something is happening.

"Kayla come here please!" Sophie yells.

I hear footsteps come down the hallway and someone slide across the floor. Then walk back.

"Yeah?" Kayla asks.

"Put this on." I say gesturing to the outfit as we all turn around.

Kayla doesn't question us instead she puts it on.

When Kayla says to we all turn around.

I pull out my phone and text Nash.

To Nash:
Be there in 10.

Nash's POV

I wipe my sweaty palms on the pants of the tux I'm wearing. I'm so nervous.

Shawn, Cam and Matt are hiding in the bushes to take pictures.

I see Kayla walk down to the beach and she smiles at me.

I smile back. The sun is setting and theirs a light breeze.

She runs to me and hugs me.

Kass, Sophie and Mallory all disappeared probably to video it and make sure the guys get the pictures.

"What's going on?" Kayla asks.

I take a deep breath.

"Well you see I've been thinking about this for awhile now. I'm completely in love with you, I love the way you laugh, how you make jokes and could beat anyones ass who hurt you or your friends. I love everything about you. I love all your little things. And yes one direction found it's way in here. I wanna spend the rest of my life with you and have a family with you. We've been through a lot and I'll always be by your side. So Kayla will you marry me?" I get down on one knee and pull out the ring. Opening the box.

I look up at Kayla and her eyes are swelled with tears.

"Yes." She says.
