Chapter 56

Mallory's POV

Were walking down the street of New York, I think we're going to the Statue of Liberty.

We decided to walk, although i'm starting to think it was a terrible idea.

After walking for 30 minutes. We arrive in front of the Statue of Liberty.

"Here." Kayla says handing Me her phone. She drags Nash in front of it and he wraps his arm around her waist and they both smile.

Then they took another one where they're kissing.

We had to wait 10 minutes for the next boat to bring us over to the Statue of Liberty. But those 10 minutes went by quickly. Before we know it, we're boarding the boat and making our way across the water.

We dock and walk off.

"First one to the top wins." Matt says starting to run with all of us close behind.

Matt has my hand almost dragging me with him, Shawn is close behind us but he has an advantage, giraffe legs.

Kass catches up and shoves me forward so I fall into Matt causing him to fall too.

I land on his chest and laugh.

"This is like déjà vu." Matt says pulling me up and making sure I'm okay.

At this point everyone is ahead of us so we just walk.

When we get to the top everyone was already there.

"This is not fair! Kass pushed me." I argue when Kass and Shawn try to say they won.

Kass mimicks me and I swear I almost pulled out one of her teeth.

We continue to argue then Cam breaks it up.

"No ones the winner then!" He says.

Everyone nods and goes their separate ways.

I lean against the railing and look out at New York City.

It's amazing.

Matt and I walk around in the Statue of Liberty. We meet up with everyone and were just about to head back down when Sophie stops us.

"Guys hold up we didn't get a group photo." She says.

Several 'yas' were said around our group.

"Excuse me mam do you mind taking our picture?" I ask a lady who's about in her mid twenties.

"Sure." She says. I hand her my phone As we all line up with the view of New York City behind us. Matt is to my right and Kayla is on my left then it goes Nash, Sophie, Cam, Kass and Shawn.

"Say cheese." The lady says.

We all smile and I get my phone back saying 'thank you.'

I look at the time to see it's already 3.

We make our way back downstairs. Luckily a boat is already here to take us back.

When we got off, we all catch a cab and go to one more place. Buddy's bakery, from the show cake boss.

I google the address and tell our cab driver.

It takes us about 25 minutes to there and their wasn't a lot of traffic.

When we walk in not too many people are there.

We all get a cupcake and take them to go.

We walk down the street eating our cupcakes. Matt accidentally knocks Kass' out of her hand and she looks down at her likes it's one of her cats that she can't bring with her when she goes somewhere.

"Go get me another damn cupcake." She says.

"Geeze Kass calmer you'd swear your pregnant or something." I say.

"I am not pregnant." She says as we all wait for Matt go get her another cupcake.

"Good because if Shawn got you pregnant i'd kick his ass." Kayla says as Matt comes back out handing Kass her cupcake.
