Chapter 40

Kassidy's POV

I awoke to the sound of someone puking. I rolled over an looked at my phone 3am. I've literally been asleep for an hour. I rolled out of bed to see what's going on, just incase they need help.

I walked to the bathroom and opened the door. Mallory was over the toilet bowl. I walked over to her side and pulled back her hair putting it in a ponytail with the ponytail that was around my wrist.

Mallory looks up at me and I take a cloth and hand it to her.

"What if your-" I began to say but she cuts me off.

"Don't even fucking say it." She said.

"Okay. Geeze." I said under my breath.

"I mean it can't happen right? Matt used protection."

"Condoms break, Mallory."

"Yeah but this one didn't I'm still hungover."

"No your not you were feeling fine earlier. You just don't want to face the fact that it might have happened." I said.

"What am I going to do?" She asked.

"Well get you a test in the morning just go get some sleep."

*10am*

I rolled out of bed and got dressed in skinny jeans and a flannel. I put on black flats.

Then I ran downstairs. Everyone was in the living room. I felt my phone in my back pocket vibrate.

From Mallory: Can you get that thing for me now?

I looked at Mallory and nodded.

"I'm going to go pick up something's ill be back in a hour." I said.

I then walked out the door before anyone could say anything.

I walked down the road to the store and went down the aisle where I guess they'd be at. I grabbed one and went to the cash.

The cash register lady gave me a sympathetic look.

After that I walked back to the house.

"What'd you buy?" Kayla asked looking at the bag.

Plastic bags are really see through so she could see it. I then hid it behind my back when I realized what she was looking at.

She turned her head and looked at Matt.

"I can't believe you fucking did this, you fucking pig!" She yelled.

Sophie then picked up on what she meant. And stood up beside Kayla.

They kept yelling that I couldn't understand what either of them were saying it was just a jumble of words. A lot of death threats and cursing though.

"Woah woah woah guys!" I yelled walking in the living room with my arms up. They all quieted down.

I then looked at Matt, he could have gotten one of my best friends pregnant. Before I could talk myself out of it I punched him in the throat.

He gagged but caught himself and cleared his throat.

"Now get the fuck out!" Sophie yelled.

He didn't move.

"Out!" I yelled he walked I the door. "Now you better stay out like your a fucking vampire and you aren't invited into this fucking house." And with that I slammed the door in his face.

Mallory stood up and took the bag from me going upstairs.

The rest of us just sat on the couch in silence.

*20 minutes later*

Mallory walked down the stairs with no expression at all.

My eyes widened.

She walked into the living room and say on the couch.

"I'm not pregnant!" She said.

We were all really happy.

Then she got up unlocked the door and brought Matt in who was sitting on the steps.

"What do you have to say?" She said.

"I'm sorry Matt for punching you." I said.

"I'm sorry I cursed at you and mentally planned out your death." Sophie said.

"I'm sorry I called you a pig, but never ever do anything like that again, just wait until you guys are ready." Kayla said.

Matt said he accepted our apologies.

Since it was still early in the day, we all went outside and in the pool.

We were in the pool having chicken fights and playing Marco Polo until 3. Then we came inside, changed and watched movies.
