Chapter 8

Kass' POV

*Shorty after Kayla left*

After Kayla left, so did Mallory and Sophie, I got a text.

From Shawn: Are you busy?

To Shawn: No why?

From Shawn: Do you want to go on a date with me?

To Shawn: Yeah, I'd love to. What should I wear?

From Shawn: Casual. Pick you up at 8?

To Shawn: Sounds good.

It was already 7:15 So I decided to start getting ready.

I put on jean shorts with a camo tank top and black converse.

*45 minutes later*

Their was a knock on the door. I opened the door to see Shawn standing there.

"Hey." Shawn said.

"Is for horses." I said.

He laughed.

I walked out the door, closing the door behind me.

It was silent for a couple of minutes.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Its a surprise." Shawn said smiling proudly.

I groaned. "I hate surprises."

"You'll love this one."

We started walking down the street. Before we reached our destination Shawn blindfolded me.

"What? Last time Kayla did this to me she ran me into a wall." I said.

"You'll be fine." he said.

We started walking down the road with Shawn guiding me.

Then I felt my face come in contact with something hard and cold. A pole. I fell to the ground and hut my head on the sidewalk. Next thing I knew everything went black...

Shawn's POV

I picked Kassidy up bridal style and ran back to the hotel.

Everyone looked at me when I got to our room.

"What happened?" Carter asked.

"I was leading her because she had a blindfold on and I ran her into a pole and then she hit her head on the sidewalk." I said in one big breath.

"And you didn't take her to the hospital because..?" Aaron asked.

"She didn't hit her head hard enough " I said.

"How do you know that your not a doctor." Taylor said.

"I know, I know but shes fine she just fainted " I said.

"Well don't you think you should call the girls?" Jack G asked.

"But their going to hate me. Especially if something happened to her." I said.

"If you don't call them one of us will have to." Carter said.

"Plus the worst that could happen is their going to yell at you." Jack J said.

"Can you call Cam and tell him to come back here?" I asked Jack G.

He nodded and I dialed Kayla's number.

Jack G's POV

I was currently calling Cam.

"Hey." He answered.

"Get the girls back to the hotel now." I said then hung up before he could question me.

Shawn's POV

Kayla picked up after two rings.

"Hello." She answered.

"Hi" I said nervously.

"Shawn why are you calling me?" She asked.

"Umm... I don't know how to say this but um.." I said.

"Shawn just say it."

I could sense the annoyance in her voice.

"Are you going to be mad?"

"Depends." She said.

"Ok well you see I was taking Kass on a date and I accidentally ran her into a pole and now she unconscious." I said.

Kayla's POV

"What did you do to her?" I said, furious.

"I told you." He said keeping his calm.

Nash was staring at me confused. I hung up and took his hand running back to the hotel. We were a long ways away.
