Chapter 54

*7pm*

Mallory's POV

It took us awhile to get ready and most of the time we didn't even move. We kinda just sat there.

We're walking down the street of New York with Kass in the lead. We all know where to go, except Kayla and Nash, but Kass is leading of course with Shawn at her side his arm tucked tightly around her shoulders.

We weren't walking for too long, and thankfully it's a nice summer night out because I decided to wear shorts. Kass walked to a building with stairs leading down and a sign saying MacLaren's Pub.

"Suprise!" We all say standing beside the green iron stair railing.

Kayla put a hand over her mouth.

"Holy shit." Nash said running his hand through his hair.

Kayla ran down the stairs. I think that's the fastest I've ever seen her run.

She ran inside with us close behind only to see people sitting at the booth.

"Okay...who's going to kick some ass?" I asked.

We looked around the group, everyone's eyes landing on me.

"I meant besides me." I said.

"C'mon Mal." Sophie said.

I sighed and walked over.

"Hey do you guys mind moving booths?" I asked the group of 20 year old guys who look to be off of school for the summer.

"Well hello." One of them says leaning back in his seat and putting one of his arms behind the backrest.

Next thing I know one of them grabbed my hips forcing me to sit on his lap.

I got up. "Let me rephrase that, get out of the fucking booth before I give you guys all black eyes."

They all scooted out and I sat down motioning my hands over the table in a 'I got it and come sit down' way.

Everyone came over and Matt sat next to me along with Nash with Kayla sitting on his lap since their wasn't a lot of room and they had to sit here.

Kass and Shawn were across from us and Sophie and Cam pull up a chair on the side.

"I'll go get drinks." Cam says getting up and walking to the bar.

"I can't believe this." Kayla says.

Nash rests his head on her shoulder.

After about 10 minutes Cam comes back with a tray with 8 beers on it.

"Hello I'm Cam and I'll be your waiter tonight." He says.

We all laugh and grab a beer from the tray once Cam sets it down.

"To Kayla and Nash on their engagement!" Cam says as we all clink our glasses together.

*10pm*

Sophie's POV

We've been at MacLaren's for 3 hours now. Nash, Matt, Kayla and Mallory went outside for a second to get some fresh air. Kass and Shawn had to go use the bathroom. Cam and I have the booth to ourselves so I sit in the booth with Cam beside me.

Everyone's been gone for about 10 minutes. I understand why everyone else is gone, but I don't know what's taking Shawn and Kass so long.

Finally after about 15 minutes they slide into the booth across from us.

I examine their slightly messy hair and crooked clothes.

"Holy fuck you guys just pulled a lily and Marshall." I yell.

"N-no we didn't." Shawn said.

"Fuck Shawn I told you to leave the talking to me, you stuttered." Kass says.

Before I could say anything everyone else slides into the booth or took a chair.

"What's going on?" Mallory's asks suspicious

Kass gave me a death glare as in to say not to say anything but I did it anyway. "Kass and Shawn pulled a Marshall and Lily!"

"Fuck you Sophie." Kass says.

Everyone gasps.

"What's that?" Matt asks.

"It means they just did the Nashty in the bathroom." Mallory explains.

"Ohhh scandalous." Matt says in a girls voice.

*2am*

Kassidy's POV

All of us leave beside Nash and Kayla. We all walk down the street with our arms wrapped around eachother, laughing. I think we all were a little tipsy, considering what we were even laughing at wasn't even funny.

Kayla's POV

"Okay bye guys see you at the hotel!" I say as I watch as everyone but Nash and I walk out the door.

Everyone left but Nash and I decided to stay for a little bit.

I look around and sigh.

"What's wrong?" Nash asks.

"Nothing."

"You sure?" He asks taking my hand and twisting my ring around my finger.

"Im sure, Mr.Grier."

"Okay then Mrs.Grier." He says.

I laugh. "Let's never do that again."

"Agreed."

"We should get going." I say.

"Yeah just one sec I need to use the bathroom."

I nod and walk outside to wait. I just stand outside and look at the apartment building.

I was gonna move here, and live in an apartment just like this.

"Boo." Nash says coming up behind me and wrapping his arms around my waist.

I jump and I hear Nash laugh.

"Babe, are you sure your okay?" He asks.

"Yeah, it's just I wanted to live in an apartment just like these when I graduated and my life has changed so much since before I bought our tickets for Magcon."

"Your not having second thoughts are you?" He asks his voice taking on a sad sound.

"No of course not I love you."

"I love you too."

We intertwine our hands and walk back to the hotel.

Everyone is asleep or at least in bed when we get back, so I just put on my pajamas and crawl into bed.

I hear a knock on the wall in one of the rooms next to us and a voice that sounds like Sophie yell "KASS AND SHAWN SHUT THE FUCK UP SOME OF US WANT TO SLEEP."

Then someone, most likely Kass, yell back "SHUT THE FUCK UP WE WEREN'T EVEN DOING ANYTHING."
