Chapter 12

*Next day*

Mallory's POV

We were all currently in the guys' room.

"I'll be right back im going to use the washroom." Kass said standing up.

"Shawn play a song. It's too quiet." I said since no one was talking.

"Sophie, can you pass me my guitar?" Shawn asked Sophie since she was closest.

Sophie's POV

I let out a sigh and got up to get Shawn's guitar.

"It's like a baseball bat." I said holding it by the kneck.

As soon as I swung it, Kass walked out of the bathroom.

The guitar made contact with Kass' head.

Shawn's guitar snapped in two from the impact. While Kass fell unconcious.

After that it felt as if everything was in slow motion. I couldn't move I was in shock. I could have just killed my best friend. Oh dear lord I know i'm not a saint and I can be a complete badass but please let kass be okay.

Shit. Are you aloud to swear in a prayer? Good job Sophie give yoursef a round of applause.

Kayla's POV

I heard alot of commotion so I looked up from my phone.

My eyes widened.

Shawn picked up Kass and we ran to the hospital...once again.

*At the hospital*

Still Kayla's POV

We arrived at the hospital and we got Kassidy with the doctors.

I walked over to Shawn.

"I swear to god if you did this you better start digging your grave." I said with clenched teetth trying not to get overly mad.

Just then Sophie stepped in.

"It wasn't Shawn. I did it." Sophie said.

"Why would you do something like this?" I asked.

"It was an accident, Kayla." She said.

I nodded then hugged Sophie. We then started crying.

"Oh my god guys grow a pair." Mallory said.

I got out of Sophie's ambrace and looked at Mallory. Her eyes weren't one bit red and she was completely fine and calm.

"How are you so calm?" I asked.

"Because she made out of getting ran into a pole and she's going to make it out of getting hit by a guitar." Mallory said confidently.

*4 days later*

Mallory's POV

Kass still hasn't woken up and i'm starting to loose hope. But I want to stay strong for Kayla, Sophie and Shawn. He's been an absolute mess.

The doctor told me that her chances of waking up are very slim.

I haven't told anyone that.

I couldn't.

I want to leave them with hope that Kass is going to wake up.

Shawn's POV

The last couple of days have been hectic.

Kayla almost got arrested for punching a doctor because he wouldn't let all of us stay.

Matt and Mallory are closer then ever. Same goes for Cam, Sophie, Kayla and Nash.

I on the other hand miss Kassidy so much. Seeing everyone else like that hurts.

Kass' POV

I can hear everything.

But it looks like I'm staring into a black hole.

As I try to open my eyes for the hundred time, things start to get a little bit brirghter.

Soon I was blinded by the over sterilized room of s hospital.

Just then a doctor walked in. I could tell by his facial expression that he's suprised that I'm awake and alive.

I took a minute to study him and noticed a bruise on his left cheek.

"Doc, why do you have a bruise on your cheek?" I asked.

"One of your frinds." He said blankly.

I stiffled a laugh.

He then made sure that was fine and told me that I could leave whenever an adult signs me out.

Once he left everyone piled into my room and gave me a hug. After that we just sat down and talked.

"Somethings different." Matt said.

"What is it Matt? Did Kayla smack you too hard with that piece of pizza and make you go all loopy?" I said.

Everyone looked at me.

"YOU GOT YOUR MEMORY BACK!" Nash yelled.

Everyone cheered.

Sophie's POV

I handed Kass her clothes so she could change and we could leave.

"Who's signing her out? No one here is a legal adult." Johnson said.

"Shit." I said.

"What did you guys do last time?" Jack G asked.

"We just walked out." Mallory said.

"You guys really suck at this whole taking care of each other thing." Matt said.

"Nuh-uh." I Mallory defensively.

"Sophie almost killed Kassidy with a guitar." Matt stated.

"Asshole." I muttered under my breath.

"Shut up Espinosa or I'll behead you." Mallory threatened giving him a death glare.

"Love you too." Matt said.

Everyone then awed and they blushed.
