Chapter 7

Mallory's POV

"Are you sure you want to do this?" I asked.

"Yeah I have to get over my fear." She answered.

Kayla walked through the crowd. She jumped onstage and took the mic form Matt . She started singing thinking out loud by Ed Sheeran, she sounded amazing.

Right after she finished she handed the mic back to Matt and jumped offstage and back into the crowd.

"I'm so proud of you Kayla." we all said in unison.

"Thanks." she said then we all had a great big group hug.

Nash's POV

I saw kayla jump onstage and she grabbed a mic and sang. I couldn't help but smile. She overcame her fear.

Kayla's POV

After Magcon I was tired. Were staying for two more weeks until we have to go home. I really wish we didnt i love cali. But home is where the heart is, right? We havent had alot of time to ourselves so we just sat anywhere that was cofortable in our hotel room and talked about anything and everything until sleep took over.

*The Next Day*

Kass' POV

We are all getting ready to go over to the guys' room. As we walked out the door I almost shut it when Sophie ran back inside.

"What?" Mallory asked.

"I almost forgot a key." Sophie said walking back out and shoving the key in her back pocket

"Ya dumbo." Kayla said.

"Thats an elephant, I aint no elephant." Sophie said.

"Aint isnt a word." Kayla said matter or factly.

"Actually its in the dictionaire." Sophie said.

We knocked on the guys' door and Taylor opened the door letting us in. We walked inside claiming our spots.

"So what part of Canada are you guys from?" Shawn asked.

"Wait, their Canadian?" Jack J asked.

"Yeah" Shawn said. "Why do you think her converse have Canadian flags on them."

"I never really noticed that but I thought Canadians were quiet like Shawn. You guys are loud." Jack J said.

We laughed.

"So what part ya from?" Shawn asked.

"Prince Edward island." Kayla said.

"Where?" Cameron asked.

We laughed.

"We expected that its really small pace but we have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world." Sophie said.

"Oh my god. You sound like your trying to sell someone a vacation." I said.

Everyone laughed.

"And you can go anywhere without being bothered." Ms.Tourrism A.K.A. Sophie said.

*6 pm*

Kayla's POV

Once we got back to our room I got a text from Nash.

From Nash: Do you want to go on a date with me?

To Nash: Yeah I would love to.

From Nash: Great. how about 7?

To Nash: Sounds good. What are we doing?

From Nash: Cant tell you that, its a suprise. But wear casual.

I didnt respond instead i started getting ready. I told Kass, Mallory and Sophie everything.

I put on black tights, a black tank top, and a black muscle tee that says "cute but psycho" in red letters with my canadian flag converse. Sophie starightened my hair and managed not to burn me.

I took my phone and put it in my shoe for safe keeping.

At 7 sharp i heard a knock on the door.

I opened the door and there stood Nash looking as handsome as ever.

I smiled.

"Shall we?' he asked in a british accent.

"We shall." I said in possibly the worst british accent ever.

I walked out the door but before I closed it I looked back and saw all 3 of my weird best friends wiggling their eyebrows.

I smiled. I always useto do that to them and still do.

Sophie's POV

After kayla left Mallory and I got ready for our double date with Cam and Matt.

Nash's POV

I picked Kayla up for our date and I was beyond nervous. I never felt this way before. She's just...different.

"So where are we going?" She asked as we walked down the street.

"Thats a suprise." I said.

"Well does it involve food?" She asked.

"Nope." I said popping the'p'.

"What? Do you want me to starve to death?" She asked with all seriousness.

I burst out laughing. "I was joking."

"Praise the lord." She said raising her hands in the air.

Kayla's POV

We walked the rest of the way in silence but it was comfortable silence. After a short amount of time we arrived at a diner.

We sat down and ordered. We both got the same thing which was fries and a burger with a shake.

When my shake came I started singing.

"My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard." I said.

"I hope not." Nash said.

I laughed.

After that we talked about ourselves not in a selfish way in a 'I want to get to know you way.'

After that we went for a walk on the beach. As soon as we arrived I took off my shoes and took my phone out so it was in my hand. I then set them on a nearby rock. I cant stand wearing shoes on the beach.

Nash and I's fingers were intertwined and it was just perfect.

I got a call, ruining the moment...it was Shawn.
