Chapter 64

*4 months later*

Sophie's POV

"That's it I'm fucking done." Kass says from where she's sitting on the couch in my apartment.

She's 9 months pregnant now. Shawn had to go run an errand so he walked her down with me.

Shawn is babying her.

"Today is your due date so hopefully you won't be a balloon soon."

She glared at me. "Not helping." She said.

Just then Mallory came through the door with Kayla close behind her. Kayla and Nash have been married for 4 months now, I'm pretty sure everything is going great.

"Here." Mallory says handing Kass the grocery bag and walking off into the kitchen.

She came back with a spoon and handed it to Kass. She pulled a jar of extra hot salsa out of the bag and handed it to Kayla who opened it.

Mallory stuck the spoon in it and handed it to Kass.

"What the fuck is this for?" She asked.

"For you to go into labor." Mallory says in a duh tone.

"How do you know it even works?" I asked.

Kayla shrugged. "I saw it on good luck Charlie like 8 years ago."

Kass shook her head but ate the salsa anyway.

"Holy fucking shit that's hot."

"That's why we bought this." Mallory says pulling out a litre of milk.

Kayla opened it, because she opens everything for us, handing it to Kass who took a drink.

"Holy fuck." Kass says clutching her stomach as tears brim her eyes.

"A-are you going into labor?" Kayla asks.

Kass doesn't answer just starts taking deep breaths.

"I'll go get our bag." I say running into their room where I don't see a bag packed anywhere.

"YOU GUYS DIDNT PACK?" I yell down to Kass.

"SHE KINDA CANT ANSWER RIGHT KNOW SOPHIE SO JUST LEAVE A MESSAGE AFTER THE BEEP." Kayla says starting to do a long beeping noise.

I quickly shove clothes and stuff in a duffel bag and run downstairs.

We help Kass get in the car and drive to the hospital.

"Someone called Shawn right?" Kass asks between breaths.

"Ummm...." I say.

"I guess we should have done that." Mallory says taking out her phone to call him.

"No fucking duh he's the one who did this to me." Kass says as she grips Kayla's hand.

When we get to the hospital Shawn runs in right behind us with all the other guys.

"How far are her contractions apart?" A nurse asks.

"Didn't know we were suppose to count that." Sophie says.

"Like I said you guys suck at taking care of each other." Matt says.

We all glare at him.

"We got her here, didn't we?" I say.

*2 hours later*

Shawn's POV

"Hey guys do you wanna meet your niece?" I ask them as I walk out Into the waiting room.

They all jump up and it sounded like a stampede.

"You guys have to be quiet though."

They nod and follow me back to room 314.

They all pile in.

"It's a girl!" Kass and I say at the same time.

"I knew it!" Mallory says pointing in  everyone's faces as they each hand over a 5 dollar bill.

"What's her name?" JJ asks.

"Taylor Cory Lyn Mendes." Kass says.

They all smile.

"After Caniff right?" Hayes says.

I nod.

After a while they all got hungry and decided to go get some food, they're going to bring us back some.

"So how does it feel to be a father?" Kass asks as Taylor lays asleep in my arms.

"I have no words to describe it, I'm a dad." 

I smile down at Taylor as I hear a soft click of a camera.

"Did you just take a picture?" I ask Kass.

She nods. "I need something to frame and give to your parents."
