Scarlet's Pov

Never in my life have I cried this much. I was sitting on the ground Xaden on my lap, blood running down my legs and there was not a single person who was there to help us. The only thing that I was currently glad for was that the chaos ended in a second. I have no idea what happened or who stopped the attack but it was over.

I was not making a single sound until I heard that the attack was stopped. I was losing the person who just confessed to me that he loves me, I was losing Xaden because he saved my life. He was the fucking Don of the mafia, I was supposed to be the one to protect him not the other way around.

"HELP! Is there no one to fucking help us?" I was yelling, I was yelling and crying at the same time, I think at some point I was even screaming. I couldn't even find the twins, I was starting to panic because I cannot even leave Xaden here alone to get help, but if I did not get help now he was going to fucking die in my arms. And that- I can't do that, I can't allow that. As I was trying to see if I can find someone to help me I saw Liam and Alice running towards us with Jay and Kai behind them.

"Oh my god, guys! Please help! He- he- he got shot to save me. I couldn't do anything to stop it, please help." I was crying like a little kid, like a kid when someone snatched away their favorite toy. I was feeling like a kid all over again, but instead of someone snatching my toy, they were snatching away the only person who meant a lot to me, who I loved with all of my heart.

Liam was on his knees the second he saw us and the twins were trying to call someone. Liam was looking at Xaden's pulse and he asked me how it happened, to which I explained everything that I knew, except the last part that Xaden told me. Liam got Xaden out of my lap and now he had Xaden on him trying to cover the wounds.

"We need to take him to hospital or else he will die." Liam said, looking at me. No, no way I was going to let that happen, hospital meant police resports, and there is no fucking way I was letting Xaden's Mafia get involved with the police. Xaden trusted me with his Mafia and there was no way I was getting the mafia in more shit than it already was.

"No, we can't get involved with the police." I told Liam. Even though I knew Dante, and he would erase any police reports if I wanted to, it was still very fucking dangerous for any police officer to remember the reports and have their eyes on us. "Don't you guys have a fucking doctor? Call him and tell him to come to Xaden's house." I told Liam again.

"Scarlet, that's not possible he will die. He needs proper medical care." He looked at me and then he turned his attention to the twins and said again, "Come on, guys. Help me so we can bring him to hospital." I understand what Liam was doing, he was going to be the underboss and he was trying to take care of the situation. But I am here now, and Xaden gave me the permission to take matters in my hands.

"I said, we will take him home and we will call our doctor to come and take care of him at our house. If necessary we will bring the whole fucking hospital to his house, for him to get proper medical care. I am not asking Liam, it's a fucking order!" I said, looking directly in Liam's eyes.

He did not understand what was going on so I explained, "Before Xaden saved my life he told me that I am in charge of the Mafia, I will take care of it and I have his permission for any decisions that I will take until he wakes up." Alice was beside me and she was not uttering a word. Kai and Jay were just there eyes on the floor and just listening, Liam on the other hand looked at me confused, but he masked his emotions real quick.
