Chapter 32: Personal Mission

Scarlet's Pov

I had to take care of this problem before I lost control of the situation. I know I was supposed to go see Xaden but now was not the time nor the place.

Dante and Alice followed me up the stairs to my office. I took out a cigarette from my pack and started taking long drags of it. I was going to see Enzo, to finally figure out if he was my dad or not, there was no way out of this. Now was the right time, Xaden was not there to question me and I could easily send away the guys on mission.

Alice started speaking, "What happened? Please don't tell me something happened to Xaden."

Alice started getting fond of Xaden, well they didn't get along that well together but let's say they tolerated each other. "No, no, nothing happened to him. I just wanted to tell you that it's time. We will go to that meeting tonight, I need to get to the bottom of this, things are getting mixed up again."

"Sure, Liam has a job to do anyways and it would be easier to get shit done." Alice said, and I agreed with her.

"I will pull up every information for tonight and I will send it now to both of you." Dante said, and he took out his phone and got to work.

"Alice, as I said, you drop me there. Thirty minutes, I only need thirty minutes and if I am not out, you get the fuck out of there and get the guys to help you find me. In case I won't get the chance to leave, don't tell them anything. Tell them I will explain everything to them once they find me." I went over the things that Alice needed to do.

Alice already fought with me last time about not leaving me there, but we agreed that it was better if she left so she can get me the help that I needed. I don't think there was going to be a big problem, no one was going to see me, I was just going to get blood from Enzo and leave.

Alice nodded her head and said, "You know I never want to leave you alone. You never left me alone when even my own father came to kill me, and now if your own father wants to kill you," she shook her head and I saw how her eyes were, there was range, a lot of range that I have never seen on her before. "I want to kill him even more."

"No, you haven't killed anyone, I will never let that happen. I killed your father in order to save us. There is nothing that you owe me." I said and I went up to go hug Alice. It was true, she didn't owe me anything, I did what I did because I had to and it got us to this place. I never regret anything, if the same thing happened I would do it again.

I wrapped my arms around her and I said again, "You will not leave me alone, you will get help so I can live and get back to Xaden and you." She nodded her head and whispered that she loved me. I needed to calm her. This is not good, she is fuming with range and I need to calm her down.

"We will get through this too, we always did. It has been only me and you since we were kids, we will get through this. You saved me multiple times and I will do anything in my power to save you." Alice whispered and I loved her for that, even though we both knew I was entering the death's house, with all Enzo's men, she still stayed strong and told me we will get through this too, but there was no other choice and we all knew that. As I mentioned to Alice too, there shouldn't be a problem, I should be out in thirty minutes.

I unwrapped my arms and stood in front of the table, I looked at Dante and Alice again and I said, "There should not be anything to worry about, we are just taking precaution. You guys stay calm and stick to the plan, we will get to our normal lives tomorrow." They all nodded their heads and we hugged. God, I love these two idiots.
