Scarlet's pov

My parents were at the door, and no one opened the door to them, and Enzo, the Italian mafia leader of the Italian mafia, did not break down the door. I'd say that it was a process. I was getting nervous, for the first time I was going to see my parents and I had no idea why they came or what they wanted to do.

I looked at Kai and then Xaden, I am not sure what my feelings were towards meeting my parents. My head was all over the place and the sex that we had was mind blowing. I tried to focus on what I really wanted to do, but in reality, I was not sure what I wanted to do.

"The ball is in your court, amore. I am fine with whatever you decide to do." Xaden said, coming closer to me and placing his hand on my thigh. He was trying to make me comfortable, and I was grateful for that once more. I was very glad that he was with me in this situation, and I loved him more for that.

"I know... I just don't know what to do, they came here but to do what?" I asked in a low voice. Kai was still in the room, waiting for us to decide and then act.

"You need to talk with them to get those answers, and no matter what I will always be by your side." Xaden said, looking at Kai and nodding his head.

"If you want, we can send them back, but I think you need to talk with them." Kai said, and I loved him for that, always giving me his opinion but never pressuring me to take any decision.

"I will go see them. Let's get down, but I want to open the door for them." I said, looking at Kai, and he nodded his head.

We all started going down, Alice was sitting at the bar with Liam, Jay was standing on the side of the staircase, and Declan was sitting on a sofa with his laptop on his lap. I looked at Xaden and nodded my head to him. He just stood there beside the staircase and waited for me to open the door to my parents.

Kai was behind me to my right and Jay also came to stand on my left side. The twins stayed a bit far so I could open the door. Fuck, I never thought that I would actually find my parents.

Yes, I was looking for them, but I never thought any further, I never thought what would happen if I actually found them. Would I yell? Would I talk with them? Would I be nice to them? And the most important thing that I have been thinking is, would I ever forgive them for leaving me an orphan when they are clearly able to take care of a child? But I guess all of this thinking is for nothing because they were on the other side of the door now, waiting for me to talk with them and open the door.

I opened the door and there was Enzo with his wife. Enzo looked up at me and he just nodded his head, but his wife had tears in her eyes, she was crying.

"Come on in." I said, motioned with my hand for them to get inside. Enzo didn't know what to say or do because he was just nodding his head, and that's funny because I should be the one to be awkward towards them.

Once they got inside, Enzo looked up and saw everyone, no one had changed their place, but Liam grabbed Alice's chair and moved it towards him. I looked at Xaden and he was looking at me.

"Take a seat, there is a lot to talk about." Xaden said, looking at Enzo.

"I would rather talk with my daughter privately." Enzo answered him back.

"That won't happen, four of us can go to my office, but Scarlet won't be alone." Xaden answered, and I was already feeling the tension between Enzo and Xaden.
