Scarlet's Pov

I was stunned, I didn't know what to say, I didn't understand what Xaden was even saying. We... We were the girls that they were looking for? They were the ones who caused the fire to us all?

We argued for days about this because we did not want to be together because if we found the girl there would be too much conflict, but now... Now the girl that he was looking for was me. I was the girl that he wanted to save in the orphanage.

Never in my life someone wanted to save, I always learned how to save myself and Alice at the same time. We learned how to save ourselves and survive and now, my life changed because I actually had someone who made a whole plan to save all of us. Not just me, but he wanted to save all of the kids at that very young age.

We never had a good life in the orphanage, the women who were working there were working for the money, not to look after the kids who were left outside. We didn't have a great childhood, but we were not hungry. When Xaden saw what everyone was going through, he decided to plan to save all, but that's not what happened. Well, he did actually plan to save us all, but Alice's father was not in the plan.

Everything turned to shit when Alice's father showed up, we didn't have the chance but to fight, we didn't have the chance to even tell one of the guys. I was in my head, I was trying to keep my head together, to understand everything.

I didn't get the chance to comprehend what was happening when I saw Declan start crying, he ran towards us and hugged me and Alice.

"Oh my god. I can't... I can't believe it's you guys. We searched everywhere for you two, but we couldn't find where you guys were." Declan was saying while sobbing.

Xaden and Liam were still on the floor sobbing and looking at us. I have never seen Xaden on his knees sobbing, sobbing for me, sobbing because he found me after thirteen years. Kai and Jay were just standing at the door, were they from the same orphanage as well? I don't remember having twins in the orphanage that we grew up in.

Everything hit at that moment... Xaden was searching for me this whole time; he fell in love with me again. He loved me when we were kids and came up with the escape plan to save all of us. I worked for him this whole time without even knowing who he was.

Xaden loved me again after finding me, but this time he didn't know who I was, he loved me again. Tears started forming in my eyes, I was going to cry. I didn't even think about it, and I wrapped my arms around Declan crying, I got his face in my hands, I looked at his red eyes, I hugged him again.

I unwrapped my arms and went on Xaden's lap kissing him and hugging him. When someone told me that I would find my lover, I would laugh at them and say they were delusional. But now Xaden was in my hands, I was sitting in his lap, he was the love of my life when he was younger, and he became the love of my life when we got older too.

Despite all the bullshit that we went through growing up, despite all the killings I had to do to get in this position, I wouldn't have changed a single thing. Fate has brought all of us together, fate has brought me back Xaden. I held his hands, I kissed his lips, I was feeling hungry for him, like... they starved me for a whole month.

"Please, don't ever get on your knees for anyone, not even for me." I whispered in his ear.

"If it's for you, I wouldn't even hesitate." He whispered back, and that formed a smile on my face.
