Xaden's Pov

I opened my eyes panicking, I looked around and I saw that I was in my room but there was a constant beeping sound. I looked at the machine and it was connected to me. I blinked once, twice and as I was starting to get up, pain shot through my arm.

I looked down and I saw that I was shot. How the fuck did I end up here? What happened? I tried to remember but I think the drugs were so strong that I was not remembering anything.

I was trying to get up and my door opened, Liam rushed inside with Kai and Jay. they were sweating, like - like they were in a bad situation.

"Omg! Thank fuck, you are awake!" Liam said, getting down on the floor beside me.

"Welcome back, Don." Kai said and Jay just nodded his head.

"What's going on? How long was I out?" I asked, my voice was raspy and it looked like I haven't spoken for a week.

"You - you don't remember anything?" Liam was asking. I shook my head, it was a bit rough speaking.

"You and Scarlet were on a date and Enzo's men attacked. You were in a coma for a week. Donna - I mean Scarlet was taking care of the mafia when you were in a coma." Liam answered. What the fuck? I tried to force my brian to remember what the fuck happened. Liam called her Donna? What was happening? But that sounded sexy as fuck.

I sat upright, there was pain everywhere but I ignored it. Now is not the time for this. I blinked, trying to remember and in that moment everything came to me. The attack, saving Scarlet, our talk. Every single thing.

"Where is she?" I asked, I needed to see her, to hug her, to fuck her.

Kai looked at Liam and Liam was looking at Kai. Liam placed his hands in his messy hair, Kai was looking at Jay, speaking without forming any words. Twin shit they had.

"Will someone fucking tell me what happened?" I demanded, this was an order, or as much as I would make it sound like an order.

The door opened and Declan entered with Alice a laptop in his hand, Alice was all covered in mud and then Dante entered the room after them.

"Fuck, I cannot find her tracker guys. We are fucked, let's hope we find her before Xaden wakes up." Declan announced without looking up.

Alice and Dante saw me and they were frozen in their places. What was he talking about? Who was missing?

"Well thank fuck I am awake. Who the fuck is missing?" I asked, in that moment Declan's eyes shot to mine and he was wide eyed.

"The fuck? Someone fucking speak, I will not ask again. Where. The. Fuck. Is. Scarlet?" I asked, I just woke up after a week and the love of my life was not around, the guys were looking for someone, but who?

"Don, we are not sure. Alice just came in - I was not even aware, no one was, we just didn't know what was happening until Alice came," Liam was mumbling shit again, which means something was definitely wrong.

"Fucking Liam, man. Stop mumbling and tell me what the fuck happened." I cut off Liam because he was pissing me off right now.

"Scarlet went out on a mission without telling anyone, Don. We were late, until we realized what was happening it was already too late. Alice came all in mud, and she had a bloodied knife. The rest of us were waiting for Declan to confirm us, because apparently Scarlet had a tracker in her necklace." Jay answered, I heard him speak for the first time. Everything was chaotic in my mind, nothing was making sense. What mission did she have? Why did Alice have a bloodied knife? What the fuck were they even talking about?
