Chapter 25: I'm not leaving him

Scarlet's Pov

Fuck no. I was not going to let him go out alone with his guys to protect me, when in reality he is the don and we need to protect him, not the other way around. I needed to think fast, because the waitresses were pulling on my arm to get me out of here. I did what I knew best, I started running to the kitchen. I'm fucking sure if they were coming to us with machine guns there should be a fucking sniper somewhere or extra guns that I can help Xaden with. Fucking hell I need to get the bottom of this Enzo's shit.

Once I got to the kitchen I saw that there was a door. As I was about to open the door one of the guys said "Miss, we need to get out. We cannot disregard a direct order, Don will have our heads." It was right, they can't disregard a direct order especially when it was Xaden himself ordering them to get me to safety but that doesn't matter shit to me. I still did not get the chance to even tell Xaden that I like him, and sure as hell I was not leaving him alone now to die.

"I don't give a fuck, because if you guys will not help me now, it will not be Xaden who will have your heads. I need a gun, sniper, knifes, daggers, whatever the fuck you guys have." I said looking in their eyes, they started looking at each other, "For fucks sake, we don't have all day, if you want your Don to be alive help me the fuck out." I was getting impatient with all of this bullshit. As I was about to move to find guns myself, they started moving faster and opening a secret door under the carpet where it lead to a fucking room that was full of stuff.

"Take whatever you need, but our priority will be keeping you safe, if things get out of hand we are getting you out. Don will kill us for this shit." One of them said, while I was looking around they introduced me to themselves, they were twins which they did not fucking look a like but they were.

The blond's name was Kai, and the dark haired one was Jay. I was not going to leave Xaden alone, even though it was fucking impulsive of him to order them to get me to safety when he knows damn well that I can fucking help, I'm not some useless woman who would run away in a fucking fight.

I couldn't take sniper because there was no fucking time to kill them one by one, I needed a machine gun because Xaden and his men did not stop shooting for a single minute. Shit was going down more than what Xaden planned for. I also got a dagger, it might be useful for some reason. Once I got the machine gun and supplied bullets on myself, I was already running to the broken windows where Xaden ran from.

Kai and Jay were after me running to protect me, just like Xaden told them, but they would be in trouble or they would be killed for not obeying direct orders if Xaden saw them.

I started running to the closest car that there was so I could hide myself and the guys with me. As I turned on the other side of the car I saw Xaden supplying his machine gun. The guys started cursing and fucking hell, Xaden was looking like we were his next target to kill. "What the fuck are guys doing here?" he was yelling I think, or maybe so we can hear him with the shooting sounds, but if I knew Xaden I think he was pissed and he was yelling at us. Fucking hell.

"Baby, I needed to help you and I didn't give the guys any chance but to agree with me." I answered, kind of hoping it would ease up some tension but he was getting angrier and the twins were whispering things to each other about them being dead or something.

"If you dickheads are getting convinced from her I don't know how I even trusted you guys to keep her safe." Oh yeah, Xaden was pissed as hell. But as I was about to answer him back and give him sass, I saw a guy coming closer to kill us, in an instant I pulled the trigger and killed him.
