Xaden's pov

I was trying to understand what the whole fucking situation was, and I already started to have a headache, I got up to light a cigarette. I was at the verge of shooting everyone and getting done with it. This situation got too much out of my goddamn time.

"All of this is nice and all, but I still don't see the point of her being here." I said, while I was still looking for a fucking pill to take for my headache.

"She wants us to use her against her father. At first, I didn't agree with her idea, but I want you to promise me that you will keep her safe. She's new to all of this, she doesn't even know how to shoot a gun, let alone hold a goddamn knife." Dimitri said, looking at me.

"Fucking hell, why is that any of my concern? Didn't you have time to train her? And she will help with what?" I asked, I needed this meeting to be over with already.

"Okay, maybe I wasn't able to get her with me and I couldn't train her. Anyways, she will help with acting that you kidnapped her and blackmail Boris to bring him... where we want him to be. Then we start the war." Dimitri said.

All of this was sounding nice, but it was only sounding nice, nothing would be this easy, but for now she was a good bait. We could use her, and if Dimitri only needed me to promise him, her safety, I was able to do that much for them. I looked at Scarlet, but she was sitting down on the sofa and wasn't acknowledging us and behind her was standing Kai and Jay.

"I promise you that I will keep her safe, while all of that plan works out. But we will need time to actually plan everything, plan for her 'kidnapping' and plan for the war, this can't be done by however you want. It will be by my terms." I wanted him to know that he was not going to be in charge, if we needed to trust him, he needed to trust us with his lover's life.

"Thank you, I will support you in any way I can while you plan everything, but I also want to be aware of everything." He looked at Beatrice and said, "I still want her with me, or Boris will be suspicious, and she can keep me aware of everything that you guys plan."

"No, she stays with me." Jay answered.

"That's not up to you, now, is it?" Dimitri said. And Jay sneered at him.

"And it's not up to you to talk to one of my men like that, now, is it?" It was Scarlet that answered back to Dimitri, without even sparing him a glance.

"Enough! Goddamn it, keep the bickering for later. Beatrice, it's up to you and Jay to decide, but I would love for you to help us." I said, I couldn't force my inner circle to do something that they didn't want. Because hell, if the roles were reversed, I would leash hell on the person who wanted to keep Scarlet at their house. Even if it was only to help. If they wouldn't agree, I would find another alternative.

Beatrice looked at Jay, but he wasn't looking at her. Which I guess, that was enough answer for her because she said she will go with Dimitri as planned, and Jay didn't argue.

"Good, since everything is now settled, everyone could leave." I said, I wanted to sleep and rest. I don't even remember the last time that I slept.

Everyone got up to leave including Enzo, but Dimitri looked at everyone and said, "Well, that's not all, Giulia does not have a place to stay. She needs to stay here with you, and if you could train her for war, that would be all I ask, I can't leave her defenceless." And with that Dimitri dropped the bomb, and he was smirking.
