Scarlet's Pov

Oh, I've had enough of his bullshit. This man has no remorse, my mother invited us to their house, instead of him taking advantage of the chance that I was giving him, he was kicking us out? When we didn't even get in? for fuck's sake, I've had enough.

I have never begged someone to accept me in my whole fucking life, and if he things that I will beg for him to do his fatherly duty, he's crazier than I thought.

I pushed Xaden away from Enzo and got closer to him, pointing my finger at him and I said, "Listen here, and listen good. I don't have one ounce of respect for you, we only came here for my moth –"

"I said, get the fuck out." Enzo yelled in my face. I didn't even get to finish my fucking sentence, that rude motherfucker.

Xaden took my hand and pushed me towards him because I was ready to throw a punch. I stopped in my tracks when I saw my mom getting out of the house too with her maids and Enzo was also coming out of the house.

What the fuck was happening? I looked at Xaden, but his eyes were focused on Liam. I looked at Liam, and he was ready to kill Enzo if he even got close to Alice. But Jay was also beside Liam, and Alice was between the two men.

Enzo looked at me and grabbed my wrist and started pushing me away from the house and taking me closer to our cars. Let me tell you, this fucker had the guts to do something like that in front of Xaden.

"I would stop if I was you, Enzo. I'm this close pulling the trigger and kill you." It was Xaden's deadly voice that stopped Enzo in his tracks, turned around and looked at Xaden.

One of Enzo's men ran towards him and whispered that it was clear. What was clear, what the fuck was he planning to do?

Enzo let go of my hand and said, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you, but if I didn't take you away from the house, they wouldn't follow my orders." What the fuck was he talking about?

"Speak." Xaden said looking at Enzo. He tilted his head, Kai and Jay were both on my sides, grabbing my wrists.

"I can't, let's go to your house. It would be safer." Enzo held his ground.

"I'm not taking you to my house again, Enzo." But so did Xaden. Both of the men in my life were holding their grounds because of me.

"Son, for my sake please believe him. I know there is a tension between both of you, but he is a good father, we cannot speak here, it's not safe." It was Gio this time who tried to convince Xaden.

Xaden looked at me, because now I have realized that I was his equal, he would never take a decision without asking me, especially when that decision would have an effect on me. I nodded my head, as much as I wanted to say fuck him and fuck his explanation, I craved that parental love. Maybe as my mother said, he was a good father?

"Get in the fucking car." Xaden growled.

We drove to Xaden's house in silence, no one wanted to speak and to be honest that was better. No one had to kill the other, though sometimes I think if all of the things I'm doing for my parents is for nothing.

These people did not even think about me, let alone didn't even care about me. Going after them, was it really worth it? I said, I never begged, and I won't beg even now, but whatever was I doing, not considered begging?
