Xaden's Pov

I needed the girls to be out of the house before we spoke about this situation, specifically when Alice is pregnant, everything was even more sensitive lately to both of the girls. I know, I know Scarlet will kill me because she was not here for this conversation, but we needed to be only men today.

"Enzo, thank you for coming right away when Declan contacted you. We have a situation that we need help with." I spoke. I already gathered everyone to my office after the incident that happened with Dimitri, I didn't call him yet to come, but he was aware and was waiting for me to tell him to come to our house.

"What happened? Why is Scarlet not here?" Enzo asked, well I guess that's a question everyone is asking right?

"Scarlet is with Alice; they went for a doctor's appointment." Liam was the one who answered, and yes, he was still pissed that he didn't go with Alice for their first appointment. Jay was with them though, because he said, and I quote "He didn't wanna hear about Dimitri." I had no choice but to send them three together, we needed to be alone anyways, because the topics that we will speak about is sensitive topics and there was going to be death that everyone needed to get prepared beforehand.

"Dimitri was the one who came to the club." I announced to Enzo. He looked at me instantly, I already knew he was panicking, so I started to explain everything that happened with Dimitri. My guys were already aware of the situation, so we just explained everything to Enzo and told him that Dimitri was supposed to come today as well, we also told him that we needed to trust him and tell him that Scarlet was his daughter, and the war started because of, well history, and we needed to make a plan to kill Boris for good this time.

"How can we trust him?" Enzo asked, and then, "My daughter is involved in this and so are we. Are you sure we can trust him? I don't want history repeating itself, Xaden."

I get what he was asking, and I do understand that, but we were not trusting Boris, we were trusting Dimitri, a young man who felt betrayed by his "father" figure. A young man who gave up his everything to get where he is. A young man whose ego was crushed, and when a man's ego is crushed, you should stay very, very far from him. So yes, we could trust him, betrayal is the biggest knife that someone could get stabbed from the back, and the revenge for that? Is bigger than any revenge possible.

"Yes, we can trust him. We need to remember that he's not Boris, and he needs us."

"You know there will be a lot of death, right?" Enzo asked or stated I'm not sure. He was not looking at any one of us, he was just stating a fact that we all knew. But we already knew that much, there was no such a thing as a war without being death in it.

We all nodded our heads, we were ready to leave our loved ones behind to protect them forever, even if that meant we have to die in the process of doing that. We even had a list, if one of us died who will take care of the others or their loved ones. We showed the list to Enzo, because if I died, Scarlet was under his protection. I know she is not going to be happy, but she needed to trust someone and there was no one better than her own blood, even if they are not close yet.
