The atmosphere in the Great Hall is buzzing with excitement as the students chatter animatedly, enjoying their breakfast on the last day of school. The sunlight streaming through the windows casts a warm glow over the room and the enchanted ceiling reflects the clear sky above. Everyone takes their time with their meals, knowing that in a few hours, they will be boarding the Hogwarts Express for their journey home.

Some of the students are excited to have the summer break ahead of them, while others feel a hint of sadness at leaving the castle behind for a few short months. The only difference is the seventh years as they sit in a close-knit group and exchange their heartfelt talks throughout their school years, with a sense of bitterness knowing that they would be going their separate ways soon.

"Guys, where's Evan?" Dorcas says as she approaches the group at a table in the corner. "And Barty?"

Regulus answers reluctantly, "Erm- they're in the Slytherin dorm. You will see."

Dorcas nods and takes a seat beside Pandora, a bit puzzled at Regulus' cryptic response. Avery, who is indulging in a plate of blueberry pancakes, quirks an eyebrow at him as well, her eyes narrowing slightly as she looks at him in askance. She can sense that there's something going on, and she isn't quite sure if she wants to know what it is. He notices her suspicious glance but remains impassive, taking a sip of his coffee.

She decides to press on, asking, "What are they doing in the dorm?"

Regulus pauses for a moment, as if contemplating whether or not to answer.

"They're... um... packing up their things," he eventually says.

Dorcas, who has been quietly listening to the exchange, can't help but chime in bluntly, her tone laden with insinuation.

"Are you sure they're not fucking each other somewhere else?"

Avery grins at Dorcas' blunt question, a mixture of surprise and bemusement on her face. Pandora, meanwhile, coughs and nearly chokes on her tea, caught off guard by the directness of her question.

"What???"

Regulus shoots Dorcas a look, clearly annoyed at her directness. He opens his mouth to reply, but before he can say a word, Barty and Evan suddenly arrive, a wide grin plastered on Evan's face and an unmistakable flush on Barty's cheeks. They approach the table, blissfully oblivious to the conversation they just interrupted.

"You two took your time," Avery remarks, her tone dry.

Evan shrugs, the smile never leaving his face.

"We had some, uh, last-minute packing to do," he replies, his tone casual. Barty, on the other hand, looks a bit sheepish, avoiding meeting anyone's gaze.

Barty and Evan exchange a quick glance, but neither responds. Regulus looks like he's about to hex his way out of the conversation, while Pandora simply watches on with a knowing smile and takes a sip from her teacup.
