Ding dong!

The Greengrass Manor's doorbell rings at half past 10 on the emeralds' scheduled sleepover date, and Avery practically sprints down the grand staircase. Opening the large oak door, she is greeted by a familiar sight: Pandora Lestrange, with her messy blonde braids and a bag slung over her shoulder, smiling from ear to ear.

"Hey, Ave!" she greets cheerfully. "Am I the first one here?"

Avery smiles at Pandora's infectious enthusiasm, ushering her friend inside.

"Yup, you're the first," she confirms, "The others should be here soon. Come on!"

By the time Avery has given a whole brief tour of the house to Pandora, the doorbell rings out again, this time revealing Dorcas, who has carried a whole ass suitcase just for one night of sleepover. Since she stepped inside the entryway and took in the spacious hall, she hasn't shut up about how "gorgeous" Avery's house is. Over the next hour, the group is becoming full one by one, with Evan arriving first among the boys. Then Regulus and last but not least is Barty.

The very first thing Avery does when they arrive is lead the group through the labyrinth of hallways, pointing out the various guest rooms along the way where they can sleep for the night. She has set her mind on the issue for days before, because on one hand, the manor has more than enough guest rooms for each of them. On the other hand, it would be a shame if they all had separate rooms. So she decided to reserve one room for her, Pandora, and Dorcas, and another room for the boys. Considering Evan and Barty's relationship, she can't help but feel guilty for putting Regulus in the same room as them - but then again, there's always an extra room if he prefers solitude, or rather is forced to.

She leads them to a pair of rooms that are next door to each other.

"Here we are," she says. "The girls in the left room, boys in the right."

She turns to Regulus, her tone unserious.

"And if you're not comfortable sharing a room with these two," she says, pointing at Barty and Evan in their faces, "there's an extra room available. You're welcome to use it."

As she says this, Barty lets out a mock gasp of offence.

"What, you don't want to share a room with us?" he teases, nudging Regulus.

Evan chimes in with a smirk.

"Yeah, we're hurt. You've shared dorms with me for 5 years, mate."

Regulus watches the two for a moment with a deadpan look and turns to Avery.

"Maybe I should take the extra room," he says.

Later in the evening, the group is gathered in the large living room, each one sitting in a circle on the carpeted floor. There are a few empty spots in the circle, representing the characters in the game. Avery shuffles through a stack of board games before settling on one.
