𝐘𝐎𝐔 felt bad, you felt really, really bad, you'd decided to accept another one of Ace's invites to go out despite what had happened at the end of your last get together, but you couldn't help it Ace is such a nice guy, he's funny and respectful and overall, the perfect friend. But you see how he looks at you, you know he doesn't want you just as a friend.

You should most definitely be honest with him and tell him how you feel about his brother, but you don't want to ruin the newfound friendship that the two of you have formed.

"Hello, earth to y/n." Ace says while waving a hand Infront of your face, you hadn't even realized you were so deep in your thoughts.

"You were looking at those fish like you wanted to eat one, you okay?" He jokes, shoving your shoulder playfully and pointing to the colorful fish encased in the glass Infront of you, a flame angelfish, fitting for the boy's fiery personality, a lively emperor angelfish comes over and swims circles around the flame fish as they start a friendly game of cat and mouse.

"M' fine jus' have a lot on my mind, I should be asking you that, your fight with Lu is in a week." You shove him back equally as playful and turn your head to stare into his into his dark eyes that seemed to look right into your soul sometimes.

"Like I said at the fair there's not gonna' be any hard feelings when I win." Ace points to his chest at the last few words and wraps an arm around your shoulder looking all confident in himself.

"When you win huh? How come you're so sure of yourself." You laugh while rolling your eyes and push his appendage off of you as you walk away to see more of the fish in the aquarium, not even bothering to hear the answer to your question.

You stop at the petting area and don't have to wait much since it was a weekday and fairly empty. A father and daughter are in the spot next to you both smiling blindingly as they watch the fish swim up to them, the pink haired girl being too short to reach in and touch the fishes, so her father picks her up and she reaches her hand in, letting out a loud giggle when one grazes her hand.

The heartwarming scene making you deaf to the world around you, so imagine your heart attack when a large arm grabs at your shoulder, just as your about to scream you hear a familiar laugh, God how could you forget about Ace.

"We gonna' touch some fish or just stand around here?" You give him an annoyed look and move to reach your hand in the fish tank, the freckled man standing next to you repeats your motion. Your hand going to retract itself when you see a stingray swimming towards you, but it stopped when Ace speaks.

"They're very gentle animals despite their reputation, they never go out of their way to attack unless provoked." He speaks softly while placing his hand on top of yours and guiding you to touch the fish lightly.

"They're actually kinda' cute." you giggle as its smooth skin touches the soft palm of your hand; you hear Ace hum in agreement from behind you as the warmth of his hand leaves yours and he goes to touch his own stingray.
