P.S. ❤️✨- Is Wanda.
It had been a long day. Y/N sat curled up in the corner of their room, holding onto their favorite plushie tightly, trying to push away the overwhelming feelings bubbling up inside. Natasha had always been their rock, the one person they could rely on when things got tough. But lately, Nat had been spending more time with Wanda, and Y/N wasn't sure how they felt about it.
They knew Nat still cared, but the change was unsettling. Y/N didn't know if they were ready for someone else to enter their little world, let alone be part of their caregiving. But everything changed one evening when Y/N felt too small to handle things alone.
The door to their room opened gently, and Nat peeked her head inside. "Hey, little one," she said softly, her voice as comforting as always. She walked over, sitting down next to Y/N on the bed. "Rough day?" she asked, stroking Y/N's hair softly.
Y/N nodded, tears welling up in their eyes. They snuggled closer to Nat, burying their face in her chest. "I...I don't like change," Y/N mumbled, clutching the plushie tighter.
Nat kissed the top of their head. "I know, baby. But it's okay. I'm always here for you, no matter what." Her voice was soothing, each word sinking deep into Y/N's heart. "And Wanda is here for you, too. She's really good at taking care of people."
Y/N's grip on their plushie loosened slightly, but they still felt unsure. "But... what if you're too busy with Wanda?" they whispered.
Nat shook her head firmly. "I'm never too busy for you. I promise." She pulled back a little, looking Y/N in the eyes. "And Wanda's not here to replace me. She just wants to help. Do you think you could try letting her in, just a little?"
Y/N hesitated but nodded slowly. "Okay... but just a little," they whispered.
Nat smiled, wiping a tear from Y/N's cheek. "That's my brave little one."
A moment later, Wanda softly knocked on the door. She stepped inside, her presence quiet and warm. "Hey, sweetie," she said with a gentle smile. She stayed back for a moment, not wanting to overwhelm Y/N.
Nat gestured to Wanda. "How about we all sit together for a bit?" she suggested, helping Y/N settle in a cozy nest of blankets on the bed.
Wanda moved closer, sitting on the edge of the bed, her voice as soft as the magical aura she often carried with her. "It's okay to feel a little scared. But we'll take it slow, okay?" With a wave of her hand, a soft glow appeared in the room, shapes of stars and swirls gently dancing in the air. It was calming—just like a lullaby, but for the eyes.
Y/N watched, mesmerized, as the soft lights floated around them. It was beautiful. "Wow..." they whispered, eyes wide as they slowly reached out towards one of the glowing shapes.
Nat smiled and pulled Y/N closer, wrapping her arm around them. "See? Wanda's pretty amazing," she said.
Wanda chuckled softly. "I just want you to feel safe, sweetheart. Nat and I both love you very much."
The words made Y/N's heart swell. Slowly, they looked over at Wanda, giving her a small, shy smile. "I... I like the lights," Y/N admitted.
Wanda grinned. "I can make them any time you want, okay? Just ask."
Nat kissed Y/N's forehead, her hand still gently brushing through their hair. "How about we all settle down for a movie, huh? Something soft and cozy."
Y/N nodded, feeling a warmth in their chest they hadn't expected. Maybe change wasn't so scary after all, especially if it meant having not just one, but two people who cared about them.
As the evening wore on, Y/N found themselves snuggled between Nat and Wanda on the couch, wrapped in blankets and surrounded by love. Every fear that had once weighed on them was slowly fading, replaced by the comfort of knowing that they were safe, cherished, and cared for by both their caregivers.
