Steve had his hands full with his Littles, Loki and Bucky, especially given their unique morning routines. Loki, the youngest, was half-asleep when Steve woke him, pouting and clinging to his favorite green stuffed snake. Bucky, meanwhile, was already a little ball of excitement, bouncing around the room asking if he could bring all his beach toys.
"Buckaroo," Steve laughed, gently guiding him to pack just the essentials, "we're only going for the day, so let's keep it simple, alright?"
Loki, still sleepy, blinked up at Steve with his big, curious eyes. "Beach?" he asked softly, his little voice full of wonder.
Steve scooped Loki up, setting him on his hip and ruffling Bucky's hair with his free hand. "That's right, bud. And we're going to have the best day ever."
They packed a small bag with snacks, sunscreen, and beach toys before heading out. In the car, Bucky sang excitedly about the sandcastles he was going to build, while Loki nibbled on crackers, slowly waking up and peeking around at the world outside the window.
Thor, being slightly older and with a big personality, had taken it upon himself to prepare for the beach all on his own—which mostly meant he wore his swim trunks over his pajamas and had his Viking helmet ready to go. Dr. Strange raised an eyebrow but couldn't help chuckling."Thor, maybe we'll save the helmet for another day?" Dr. Strange suggested, gently tugging it off and swapping it for a sunhat.
Thor gave a big, proud nod. "Yes, Sir Doctor, but I will still be ready to defend us all!"
Dr. Strange smirked. "Good, we'll count on you for protection, then."
They packed a cooler full of fruit and sandwiches, plus extra towels, before meeting up with the others. In the car, Thor chattered on and on about all the "sea battles" he was planning, complete with heroic gestures, while Dr. Strange focused on finding the best playlist for their drive.
Tony, who was always a little tornado of energy, was already up and ready by the time Peter arrived. Well, "ready" might've been a bit generous—Tony was sporting his favorite shark-themed swimsuit, oversized sunglasses, and a beach towel tied around his neck like a cape."Ready for some fun, buddy?" Peter asked, smiling as he adjusted Tony's sunglasses, which were slipping off his nose.
"Yup! I'm ready to save the beach!" Tony declared with a triumphant fist in the air, clearly still in hero mode.
Peter chuckled, making sure they had sunscreen, a couple of toy shovels, and a hat for Tony before they set out. On the drive, Tony was full of ideas about what he'd do at the beach—digging for treasure, saving starfish, and investigating every seashell.
Finally, all three groups arrived at the beach, gathering in one spot and setting up their towels, umbrellas, and coolers. Each caregiver had a plan to keep their Little entertained and make the most of the day.
Steve took Loki and Bucky to a quieter part of the beach, setting up a small blanket under an umbrella. He helped Loki apply sunscreen, making him giggle as he tickled his nose with it.Meanwhile, Bucky wasted no time digging and building an intricate sandcastle, complete with a moat.
"Look, Stevie!" Bucky shouted, proud of his creation.
Loki watched in awe, occasionally patting the sand to "help" while Steve kept a watchful eye. Eventually, Loki started to open up, making soft giggles as he shaped the sand into little mounds.
Dr. Strange and Thor, meanwhile, ventured closer to the water. Thor was thrilled to see the waves rolling in and took great delight in wading in up to his ankles, challenging the waves to "mighty duels."
Dr. Strange kept close, encouraging Thor's imagination but also making sure he stayed safe. When Thor found a big shell, he held it up triumphantly, proclaiming it to be the "prized treasure of Asgard."
Tony, the energetic explorer, had Peter constantly moving. First, they walked along the shore to search for seashells, which Tony excitedly gathered in his bucket, chattering about each "discovery." Then, Tony decided it was time to build a "beach lab," complete with trenches and channels that led down to the water.
Peter was more than willing to help, laughing as Tony gave precise instructions, making sure everything was "just right." After a while, Tony wanted to splash in the water, so Peter joined him, holding his hand as they kicked and laughed at the waves.
As the sun began to set, each Little was thoroughly exhausted. Steve, Peter, and Dr. Strange packed up their bags, each carrying a sleepy but happy Little back to the cars. The beach day had been a perfect success, leaving everyone with sandy toes, sun-kissed cheeks, and memories they'd cherish.
