Scotland, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, 25th December, 1991

Lilith sat at the edge of her bed, absently brushing her fiery hair, lost in thought as she gazed at her reflection in the dormitory mirror. Clad in her soft rose-colored pyjamas and wrapped in the warm scarlet robe she'd been given at the start of the semester, she might have appeared serene to anyone passing by. But those who knew her well—like her twin brother—would recognize the telltale signs of distress. Her bottom lip, gnawed raw, was now nearly the same shade as her hair, a silent testament to the questions that swirled endlessly in her mind.

Had she done something wrong to Theodore today? Was it something Ron had said? Or Harry? Was she not being a good enough friend?

Her thoughts churned like a storm as she put down the brush with a sigh, forcing herself to meet her own eyes in the mirror. "Tomorrow, you'll talk to him," she whispered, trying to comfort herself with the promise of resolution. "But for now, it's time to sleep. You need it."
Eventually, exhaustion won, and Lilith drifted into a light, restless sleep. It was far from peaceful—her dreams were a jumble of vague concerns and incomplete thoughts, making her sleep feel like a shallow breath, never quite settling.

A light tap on her shoulder failed to stir her.

"Lily," a voice whispered softly.

Still, she didn't move.

"Come on, Lily, wake up!" Harry's voice broke through the haze, this time more persistent.

Lilith jolted awake, her green eyes wide with surprise as she sat up against the headboard, her heart racing. "What's happened? Are you okay?" Her voice was frantic, and she scanned her brother's face for any signs of trouble.

Harry, grinning in the dim light, placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "I'm okay, promise. I've just found something incredible, and I need your help."

Still half-asleep, Lilith squinted, her thoughts slow to  catch up. "Wait—what are you even doing here? No—how did you get here? This is the girls' dormitory!"

"Long story short, the cloak of invisibility makes it possible for me to go anywhere whenever," Harry replied, barely containing his excitement. "Now, please just come with me."

Intrigued by the spark of enthusiasm in his voice, she couldn't help but be drawn in. "Alright, alright," she muttered, slipping out of bed and grabbing her wand. Together, their footsteps echoed quietly as they ventured into the dark, deserted corridors of Hogwarts Castle, the dim torchlight flickering against the stone walls.

"Where are we going, Harry?" she asked, her curiosity growing with each step.

"You'll understand when you see it," he answered, his tone filled with anticipation. "Trust me."
