Scotland, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, 18th June , 1992

Harry awoke with a sudden jolt, his eyes wide and unfocused as he struggled to piece together where he was and what had happened. Lilith, already propped up on her bed, reached out to steady him.

"Easy, Harry," she said softly, her voice a mix of relief and exhaustion. "It's alright."

He blinked at her, the panic in his eyes slowly giving way to confusion. "What happened? Where are we?"

She took a deep breath, recounting everything as succinctly as she could—the destruction of the Stone, Dumbledore's visit, and how their names had become the talk of the school. When she mentioned Uncle Remus knowing, Harry's eyes widened further.

"You're kidding, right?" he whispered, a trace of dread lacing his voice.

Lilith couldn't help the tired chuckle that escaped her. "See for yourself." She passed him the letter, her smile tinged with weariness and a touch of mischief.

Harry scanned the parchment, his expression shifting from surprise to guilt, and then to a resigned sigh. The weight of the past days settled over them both as they shared a knowing look. Summer was going to be something else.

Sudden footsteps echoed through the stone-floored hallway, growing louder until the door burst open to reveal a mop of bright red hair and a tangle of bushy curls. The sight of their friends brought an instant warmth to the room, and Lilith's smile spread from ear to ear.

"You're both awake!" Hermione cried, her eyes brimming with relief as she rushed forward and wrapped her arms around them both in a tight hug, nearly crushing the breath out of them. Harry let out a small laugh, wincing at the embrace but hugging her back anyway.

"Hey, watch it! They're still recovering!" Ron teased, though his eyes shone with unmistakable worry and joy. He stood at the foot of their beds, shuffling his feet awkwardly before breaking into a wide grin. "Blimey, we thought you'd sleep through the whole summer."

Harry's grin widened. "Wouldn't dream of it," he quipped, leaning back against his pillows. He glanced at Lilith, catching the flicker of amusement in her eyes. For the first time in what felt like ages, everything was normal.

Hermione finally pulled back, her eyes darting between them as if trying to memorize every detail to reassure herself they were truly alright. "We heard about what happened," she said, the edge of her voice betraying her anxiety. "Well, as much as anyone could, given how quickly news travels. You were both so brave."
